When gave to me a room, the room smelled cigarettes, I complained and they promptly changed my room. The room didn't have a door lock, but I didn't complain, because I was very tired.

Worst place ever to stay.

The only thing about this place was the price. After getting there, realized it was a disaster.

Cons:

I decided to use the restroom before placing our bags in the room. There were roaches everywhere. I went back to the desk clerk and informed him the room had roaches and did they have roach spray or something. Or maybe a different room as long as no roaches. He proceeds to tell me that every hotel has roaches and that that was a transient hotel and may have bed bugs, mold, and roaches. That every hotel along that road has the same issue. At this point I am shocked as well as my daughter and nephew. They were not sure about staying there. I told him I had never stayed at a hotel with roaches like that.The clerk gets defensive at this point and says he would refund my money and I could find a new hotel. That is what we did. The next hotel although more expensive was what we were looking for. Clean, comfortable, and no roaches or bedbugs. In my honest opinion the hotel needs to tent that entire building, because there clearly is an infestation. Then maybe do some mold remediation.

The staff was amazing and did everything they could to make the stay as pleasant as possible.

Cons:

Asked for a non-smoking room and was placed in a smoking room. Staff did everything they could to make it right. Moved me to another room that was non-smoking; however, the previous tenant smoked in the bathroom. The mattress was so worn that it felt like I was sleeping on the box spring, and I'm only 200 pounds. The entire facility was dirty and run-down. The staff was amazing and did everything they could to make the stay enjoyable.

Don't stay here. Do yourself a favor and go to a different hotel.

Really the only good thing is that it's a 5 minute drive from Universal. That's literally it.

Cons:

The rooms are INFESTED with roaches. I'm talking about I walked into my room and wasn't even in there for 30 seconds and came across 2 roaches with one of them being inside the refridgerator. Ended up killing 7 roaches and two of them being on the bed. We were only going to stay for one night so we just powered through the night and plugged our ears.
