Albion South Beach Hotel

Very descent hotel only 300 m from the beach. Hugo at the reception is exceptional.

It is good located, quiet. Room was clean and temp was pleasant cool. The staff at the front-desk was friendly and helpful when check-in. The breakfast was of good quality and enough food. When checking out was our experience with the staff at front-desk (Hugo) friendly and helpful.

For almost $300 a night I expected so much more. Filthy!! From the furniture in the lobby to the furniture in the room. The tv was extremely small. Stated NO SIGNAL so unable to use it. The pool are was not available. The bathroom resembled a prison bathroom. I had the ick the entire day and booked elsewhere for the remainder of my trip.

The Albion Hotel is a chic, cool boutique hotel one block from Collins Avenue and 2 from South Beach.
Hugo and Nathan on the front desk were extremely professional and helpful, making my stay go as smoothly as possible.
I would highly recommend this as a great place to stay when visiting Miami Beach !

Staff was great, very accommodating. Location was excellent. Room was nice for the price.

Was visiting family and friends the month of January 26. Did four visits to SB. Two at the Albion. Other 2 at small boutique hotels in same neighborhood. Hugo and Majo and another gentleman from the front desk were all professional and on point. Unlike the other 2. Been coming to Miami multiple times per year for several years from Boston. Have stayed in many different places. Some good some bad. It can be a crapshoot sometimes. This place did not disappoint. Rooms more than adequate and clean/ comfy bed. Location is central to everything you could possibly need. Beach shops restaurants all within a block. No need to have a car. It’s a pain to drive and park. This place is solid.
Staff is everything! Just coming and going they acknowledge you with smile or eye contact. Creates a sense of safeness, that they are paying attention.
No names but one place the nice kid at the desk did not have experience or training. Never even looked up from his phone when you walked by. Anyone could have come and gone. It was a nice place to.

Stolen from inside the room – warning to future guests

During our stay at this hotel, we experienced an extremely serious and frustrating situation.

On Sunday, January 11, at approximately 1:20 PM, we left the hotel. At that time, a shopping bag was taken to room 418 and placed next to the bed. We only returned to the hotel around 7:00 PM, and upon entering the room, the shopping bag was no longer there.

The room was thoroughly searched and, after confirming the disappearance, we immediately informed the front desk, clearly indicating a possible theft from inside the room. The hotel’s security cameras (elevators, lobby, and common areas) should be able to confirm that the bag was taken to the room at that time.

Following the front desk’s guidance, a police report was filed with the Miami Police Department. We also requested that security footage be reviewed and that staff access to the room be checked. However, we were informed that no manager was available at that time and that no action could be taken until the following day.

The shopping bag contained purchases with receipts, totaling approximately USD 200. Despite this, the hotel later informed us that no refund or compensation would be provided.

In addition to this incident, the room cleaning on the same day was unsatisfactory:

bathroom towels were removed and not replaced;

the comforter was removed from the bed and not put back;

a tip left in the room also went missing;

overall, the room cleaning was incomplete and poorly done.

Regardless of whether this was theft or an operational error, we believe that the hotel is responsible for the security of guests’ belongings left inside the room.

We are sharing this experience as a warning to future guests. We recommend exercising caution and avoiding leaving personal belongings in the room.

Hugo, the reception guy was great and helpfull. The hotel not so well, poor ventilation at the bathroom, weak wifi and a serious plumming problem in the walls with big noise during the night at 6th room.
Also, the hotel does not have a Pool.

Best location in Miami. It's literally in the middle of everything. Very safe neighborhood! You can walk to wherever you need to go, the boardwalk and beach, brunch, fine dining, fast food, walgreens, and even Ross! A huge shout out to Hugo for making my stay lovely, making sure I felt welcomed and comfortable, excellent lunch recommendations. A huge shout out to the bartender Tony, he made my solo trip fun with excellent and delicious craft cocktails and fun music, great vibe!! Looking forever to staying again soon!!

This is the best service I have ever experienced! Very kind and helpful employees. The room was very clean and comfortable. Lovely location as well! If we’re going to Miami again we will definitely stay here!

Poor WIFI. Unreliable, slow. Other than that Rhea hotel is charming. But if you expect to use the WIFI forget it.
Location is good, many restaurants and shops around.
But the WIFI. Ohhhh the WIFI quality ruined my trip

We booked a two-night stay between cruises, which went by too quickly. The location was excellent – a short stroll to the beach and right on the edge of Lincoln Mall. Coming from Australia and not familiar with the area we were pleasantly surprised that everything in South Beach Miami was within walking distance of this hotel, including lots of restaurants and several supermarkets. The room was superb, very clean and spacious, and lovely smelling toiletries in the bathroom. The bed was super comfy. We would definitely stay here again either before or after cruising from Miami and would highly recommend it. The only down side was that the pool in not operational at the moment but being so close to the beach that really isn’t an issue. Great value for money. The staff were exceptionally friendly especially Majo and Diego.

You cannot beat the location; walk to all the shops and restaurants! The breakfast is a great, affordable deal, and they have a quaint lobby bar with a very knowledgeable and personable bartender named Tony. The pool is under construction, but the beach is 3-4 blocks away. This hotel is worth a try!

Miami is always fun and exciting. It’s expensive too, but Arlo often has specials right smack dab in the middle of everything. The rooms are simple and very clean. Don’t bother to eat at the hotel you’ll do far better going out to any of the local restaurants and eateries. The staff was extremely helpful and genuine.
