A very disappointing stay and would not repeat the mistake I made by staying there again.

It was fairly close to the airport. The breakfast was OK.

Cons:

We did not have COLD water. Both sides of the faucet came out hot, very hot. A shower was nearly impossible. I had to get a pitcher of water from the restaurant in order to just brush my teeth. Working with hotel staff did not help. I was told maintenance had gone home for the night and they would leave a note for maintenance the the following morning. During our second night we haf the same issue. Nothing ws done. I don't know if the problem was specific to my room or the whole hotel. The underlying issue is the staff just didn't seem to care about our comfort or the quality of the stay at the holel. The cleanliness of the room was fine. The breakfast was fine.

Pros:

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The room was large with a very comfortable bed and multiple electrical outlets. Very good value for the cost and close to the airport.

Better accomodations next time
Pros:

The public spaces of this hotel are beautiful.

Cons:

The rooms are very run down and tired. The air conditioning was turned off and the rooms were warm. The hotel breakfast for 27.00 USD was lacking. The coffee was from a push button machine while a perfectly functioning espresso machine sat unused in the “lounge”.
The hotel states that they do not run a shuttle to the airport. They have 2 passenger vans with their logo emblazoned on them, one that followed our taxi to the airport! I’m not sure who is eligible for their use, but it wasn’t us!

The service didn’t live up to the hype.
Pros:

The breakfast was very nice. In the restaurant, I liked the camaraderie of the staff.

Cons:

Tried to book a massage at the spa. I selected an available time, and they cancelled my appointment 5 minutes before the time. The staff at the desk seemed to have no idea how to communicate with the massage staff and did not offer me any solutions or alternate times.
Also the reservations staff charged me for the room even though I already paid for it. Fortunately, I caught it and told them of their mistake.
