Over priced for facilities offered.
Pros:

Convenient to airport. Walking distance to restaurants

Cons:

No hairdryer. Breakfast very standard, no berries, nuts, seeds or natural yoghurt. Not much choice. No aurora call. Too much man made fibres in bed which made for a very hot night. Communal toilet by reception wasn’t kept clean or tidy. No toilet paper in morning.
Given this is supposed to be a luxury hotel. It lacked the basics

Pros:

We had an early flight and used this as a base to get some rest so didn't spend too long here. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room had everything we needed for the evening and was quite spacious. It's also short drive to the airport.

Cons:

The walls were pretty thin so we could hear other people talking and their TV but thankfully it ended around 11pm and the hotel car park is across the road so in the snow with luggage it was a bit tricky but not a huge issue.

en þjónustulundin því miður ekki í takt. Bíða í 10 mín eftir afgreiðslu á barnum eftir bjór og fá svo loks svarið að barinn loki kl.23. Biðum eftir afgreiðslu frá 22:47. Afleitt alveg.

Room needed fixing
Pros:

Very good restaurant. Nice, classical design interiors with lovely artworks. Friendly and professional staff.

Cons:

Bathroom needed fixing: lights didn't work properly, shower extremely difficult to adjust and drain didn't work. One of the night tables needed a lamp.

There is a big bump in the main entrance that complicates the bags and luggage entrance

Nous avons apprécié la localisation de l’hôtel proche de l’aéroport et du Blue Lagoon

Cons:

Nous n’avons pas apprécié l’insonorisation de la chambre. De plus l’ascenseur était en panne et nous avons dû monter nos valises par l’escalier. Et pour finir la douche fuyait et nous avions de l’eau partout dans la salle de bain.

Cons:

While laying in bed around 22:00, the door to our room opened and a strange man entered. He was equally startled to find the room occupied. He had been assigned to our room and given a room key. This was quite alarming, and thankfully both parties were relaxed and nice about it. Down at reception, the staff offered a lackluster apology for the mix up. Staff told him that his reservation was actually for a different date, which begs the question of how they checked him in to begin with. I was disappointed that a potential safety issue was treated so nonchalantly.

Bien ubicado, muy cerca del aeropuerto KEF, llegamos en la noche y fue la mejor opción para solo llegar a dormir, y muy cerca de blue lagoon para irnos temprano al día siguiente, habitación limpia y cómoda
