The Hotel Quinta do Lago has a vibe that is incredibly warm and welcoming. The building is well maintained, the service is impeccable and so friendly, the pool area is perfect and the position close to the beach is wonderful. Food is terrific too!
The pool temperature is a tad fresh - not too cold to enjoy but not warm.
Location
Overall the hotel was fantastic. Pool area was large with smaller pool for infants and a separate jacuzzi, importantly there were plenty of sun beds. Hotel staff were all excellent and couldn't have been more helpful. Food at the hotel was also very good, excellent breakfast buffet and we enjoyed our lunchtime food at the pool bar / restaurant.
The beach area was excellent with a dedicated area for guests of the hotel, only thing we found slightly odd was that there were no toilet facilities at the beach - nearest toilets were a good 10 minute walk back at the hotel.
