Overall the hotel was fantastic. Pool area was large with smaller pool for infants and a separate jacuzzi, importantly there were plenty of sun beds. Hotel staff were all excellent and couldn't have been more helpful. Food at the hotel was also very good, excellent breakfast buffet and we enjoyed our lunchtime food at the pool bar / restaurant.
The beach area was excellent with a dedicated area for guests of the hotel, only thing we found slightly odd was that there were no toilet facilities at the beach - nearest toilets were a good 10 minute walk back at the hotel.

The location with the lagoon and the gardens, the pool are wonderful, breakfast is excellent with nice views. Rooms and hotel are a bit dated and dark for my taste but high quality and spacious and comfortable.
Quality of sleep poor for us, hardly slept at all. The permanent noise of airplanes taking off, loud music at night until 4:30 am relatively close by outside. I also had expected more given the reputation and for a ‚leading hotel‘ in terms of service. Employees did not always convey that ambition. Especially the check in and room we got was not smooth. The room we had as a couple without kids was next to where they had families staying, kids with frequent tantrums and lots of noise, despite paying over 650 Euros per night.
This hotel is superb in every way. The staff are all helpful, courteous,friendly and professional and most have good understanding of English language.
We loved everything, the relaxed atmosphere, the great reception staff, the wonderful helpful pool side attendants and the polite and obliging housekeeping staff and not forgetting the great porters.
The food is fantastic and absolutely nothing is too much trouble for the hotel staff to ensure guests have a great stay.
We have stayed before and we will return again.
There is nothing we did not like!
