Great location
Pros:

Lovely hotel that is in a great location. The hotel liaised with the airport staff to arrange my transfer and I was greeted as soon as I got off the plane which was incredible, the gentleman guided me through immigration, helped me collect my bag and then walked me to my driver outside, which was the first for any hotel I’ve ever stayed with. It made the arrival process seamless and effortless as the airport can be quite chaotic. The hotel room was very spacious and clean and the conceirge team were very helpful throughout. As a solo, female traveller I felt very safe staying at this hotel. Breakfast was nice and had a good variety. The hotel managed to arrange a late checkout for me which was very helpful.

Cons:

WiFi connection wasn’t great during the first few days of the stay. Having stayed in many Kempinskis around the world, apart from the airport pick up, I didn’t feel like this branch went as above and beyond as the others.

Ein erstklassiges fünf Sterne Haus
Pros:

Das Kempinski in Peking ist ein hervorragendes Hotel mit einer erstklassigen Ausstattung und Lage. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit, die gesamte Anlage mit den angeschlossenen Restaurants ist sehr komfortabel. Wir haben insbesondere den Bereich der Executive Lounge genossen und unsere Suite waren absolut großzügig. Die fünf Sterne sind mehr als gerechtfertigt.

Gewohnt gut bis auf das sehr enttäuschende Frühstück.
Cons:

Das Frühstück war während meiner früheren Aufenthalte in den letzten 20 Jahren immer ein Highlight. Leider hat mich das dieses Mal doch sehr enttäuscht. Die vorbereiteten Speisen waren zwar in Warmhalteplatten, jedoch zum großen Teil nicht mehr frisch und fast kalt, wie man es in vielen Mittelklassehotel leider vorfindet.
Das sollte nicht Standard bei Kempinski sein! Ich hoffe, das war nur eine Ausnahme.

Spacious rooms with bathrobes, slippers, and most of the necessary amenities. Nice beds and linens. Quality pillows. Complimentary water bottles every day. Kempi Deli was nice and convenient. Breakfast was okay, with multiple options in Western and Asian cuisine. Room service was quite good. Helpful personnel.

Mini bar was almost empty, only three different cans, no snacks. No spa.
