It was a beautiful night away from home. Thank you.
Pros:

The hotel was beautiful and I loved that we had a balcony on our room.

Cons:

When we showed up, they found out we were residents and told us we could've gotten a $100 discount. But, they should've refunded us money. Thats the way to keep a customer. But they told us we could've gotten a discount and they didn't give us anything to make up for that perk.

Très mauvaise expérience pour un séjour de deux nuits que j’avais offert à ma mère pour son anniversaire.

Pendant un dîner, elle s’est absentée environ 30 minutes. À son retour, la chambre avait été visitée par des individus : serviettes jetées au sol et toilettes souillées. Une intrusion totalement inacceptable.

Le plus choquant est qu’elle a dû nettoyer elle-même, sans aucune assistance du personnel.

Le problème a été signalé immédiatement à la réception, qui a indiqué en référer au manager. Malgré cela, aucune suite, aucune explication ni geste commercial.

Je suis d’autant plus déçu que cet établissement se présente comme un 5 étoiles, ce qui est clairement en décalage avec cette expérience, tant sur la sécurité que sur la gestion de l’incident.

Ce séjour, censé être un cadeau, s’est transformé en expérience très désagréable. Je ne recommande pas cet établissement

Excellent hotel in Addis Ababa

I had an excellent experience staying in this hotel for a business trip in April 2026. Each aspect of the hotel was flawless, including the generous assistance provided by Bitamya at check-in/check-out. The staff were incredibly friendly and I'd recommend the hotel without hesitation.

Sheraton Addis sets a standard for service excellence beyond expectation
Pros:

This was my third stay at the Sheraton Addis for business. I am impressed by its wide selection of restaurants and amenities, while its gardens are memorably tranquil. My last experience there, however, was extraordinary.

I arrived feeling ill and became increasingly ill as my stay progressed. At the hotel delicatessen I tried find something bland to eat, and the assistant enquired about the reason - I had stomach issues. She then called room service on my behalf, and a kindly gentleman, whose name I regrettably have forgotten, delivered appropriate nourishment, with a local remedy of ground coffee beans and honey. He offered to summon the in-house nurse. As she had just gone off duty, the gentleman suggested either arranging for me to go to hospital or requesting a doctor attend to me. I chose the latter due to my deteriorating condition. Within half an hour a doctor and nurse arrived at my room, examined me, took samples, put me on a drip and delivered the samples to the hospital’s laboratory. Results came back quickly and the doctor prescribed medication which I then collected from the hospital pharmacy.

The room service staff were responsive, provided relevant care and contacted me several times to ascertain my condition.

When it came to paying the medical fees, the charge was surprisingly reasonable. The hospital required settlement in cash local currency and although I did not have enough on hand I could use the hotel’s ATM or its in-house currency exchange company to get cash.

I thank and compliment the hotel staff for responding to my troubles compassionately and quickly, and accessing excellent medical care for me. Thank you, all the staff of Sheraton Addis. You set a high standard.

Breathtaking hotel
Pros:

So we didn’t stay at Sheraton but went to have lunch there. The hotel is just amazing !! One of the best Sheratons o have ever seen and I do travel quite a bit.
The hotel garden is breathtaking.. it looked like south of France .
The staff was very nice . We weren’t staying there but they offered us to try the complimentary coffee ceremony .
Lunch at Jade was excellent too.
I have not seen the room but my sister stayed here a couple of months back and she loved the rooms too.
The hotel location is very nice .. right across from Unity park.
