Pros:

This is the first hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time that actually has daily maid service. I was shocked and very pleasantly surprised. Easy access to everywhere. Close to downtown.

Cons:

Daily parking rate is expensive.

Overall, the hotel was really great! The room was very spacious for our family of 4 (including two teenagers).

Do NOT stay. $500 smoking fees will be charged even when you prove you medically cant nor be around smoke/vaping.
Pros:

Do NOT stay at this hotel. Many of their reviews especially on the Bonvoy site warn of frivolous fees and I can concur. I was charged $500 for a smoking/vaping fee in my room but the problem is I do not smoke/vape and couldn’t allow it around me at the time as I was still recovering from emergency open heart surgery. I had appealed to the hotel, to Bonvoy, and to my credit card and all have shrugged after the hotel submitted a report from a 3rd party showing I had. I am now reporting them to the City based on my research concerning these sensors and companies and the numerous complaints online. As a Titanium member for most of the last 10 years and a lifetime platinum member am also extremely disappointed with Bonvoy for their handling of the issue.

Pros:

The look and the cleanliness of the rooms. I have many things I did like about the room and hotel. I will be back.

When I arrived the lady was polite and allowed me to check in early. She could not answer any questions I had asked her about which breakfast was included with the room. She said no breakfast. I told her that's what I read It said I can add breakfast for $21.00 because the room I reserved didn't come with free breakfast. She said no. I don't think she understood English either. I pulled out my phone to show her then she agreed. My worst complaint is when I called the front desk and no worker did not answer. I had to go back down to the desk and also when they asked if I had any accommodation when you were reserving the room I said yes I am Disabled and I would like a room with a tube. I also have mobility issues. The evening front desk worker did offer me one but I told him it was too much to move again. When the Maintenance man named Ray I think that's his name he was very attentive and concerned about the issues about the phone He brought a different phone to see if it was the problem. I told him I was disabled. I have Lupus and Lung disease. My God woke me up in my sleep at 5:45 I could breathe, wheezing sounding like a whistle. Luckily a friend came to meet me back in Dallas for the concert. She rushed me to the hospital They admitted me I think all the workers on the Friday night shift need more customer service training. The Marriott is a beautiful and elegant place .The front area, bar and restaurant is so clean and beautiful. The housekeeping lady Friday and Saturday shift she was sweet but she could not understand anything I asked her about the room, where the washer or how to get ice. She said I don't know she couldn't understand English but she cleaned that room. Overall I will come back. I had to delete some of my pictures I was sending my family and friends to show them the room when the storage was full.

Cons:

During our stay upon check out and returning to our vehicle we found that the taillights of my GMC Sierra had been stolen from the gated, paid, and patrolled parking lot on site.

Marriott has offered no help or communication regarding this. We were not the only vehicle involved in this theft. Every 2024-2025 GMC or Silverado was robbed of their tail lights. These are 3-4k to replace.

You certainly don’t expect to have a group of vehicles broken into in a parking lot you’re paying for that has a gate and security who clearly are not securing anything.

I would not stay here as you may be leaving with less than you came with.
