Marriott Columbus Northwest

Veterans of Foreign Wars Department of Ohio had our 1st Mid-Winter Conference and Scholarship Awards Banquet at the Marriott Columbus Northwest, and WE ARE GOING BACK for 2027-2028. Karen, Clara, and their team of amazing people made this the BEST Mid-Winter we have had in many years. The Rooms and Hotel were clean; the Employees and Banquet Staff were 4 out of 4 stars and went out of their way to make sure every little detail was perfect. I recommend staying here if you have business or a family. I can't wait to work with this team for the next few years. I give Clara Springer and Team Columbus Northwest Rock Star Status.

I am a regular visitor to the hotel for business purposes and this serves as a nice home away from home.

The whole team there is top notch. Great service, it’s clean, the food is excellent.

I also hold regular meetings in their board rooms and that experience is top notch as well. Clara Springer does an excellent job helping me coordinate.

Close proximity to attractions

My wife and I stayed at this Marriott the night of May 25, 2026. I have Lifetime Titanium status with Marriott, so I’ve stayed at a lot of different Marriotts. The staff here was the nicest and most welcoming of any Marriott at which I’ve ever stayed. From our check-in to the concierge lounge to the bar/ restaurant to checkout, every one of the associates we met was most friendly and accommodating. Congratulations on a great culture!

And, by the way, good food & wine list, a very nice pool and an excellent room. Thanks!

The place is super close to the freeway, which is nice. It felt really safe, though a few of the outside pole lights weren't working and needed fixing.
The rooms are clean and roomy.
Overall, it's a great deal.
It wasn't too noisy, so I slept really well.
The service from everyone – front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and banquets – was amazing. The banquet staff was especially awesome, and Chad really gets customer service and knows what guests need before they even ask.

I was there for a wedding the weekend of 2/6/26. I just wanted to say that Dina, Chloe, Erika, Lisa, and Chad went above and beyond all weekend! They made the weekend fantastic!

Friendly staff, clean

Been here several times and have never been disappointed. The staff is excellent! I wish I knew everyone's name since they were all helpful, pleasant, and professional. A special shout out to Mya (supervisor) Maria (team leader). Have a special request? They do their best to help and ALWAYS with a smile. Next, to the two gentlemen running the in-house restaurant (who have been there during each of our stays.) The folks at the table beside us had children who spilled a full drink and were not interested in breakfast - until they saw it. Then the kiddos were very happy. The most impressive thing was how the staff treated them. Kindness, calmness, , and friendliness all while cleaning the spill. The custodial staff are also to be commended. The hotel rooms are clean, quiet, and nicely appointed. Will stay here again and again.

Went there for a conference and session for and with the VFW- all service was impeccable, courteous and professional. Especially noted was Danielle (kitchen) staff who navigated everything quietly during breakout sessions, took time to ask about our likes and restrictions to roll out unparalleled service with grace, consideration and understanding.

Marla was so helpful correcting my mistake as though it was her greatest concern. I could not have been more pleased with her response and the care she displayed.

Staff was very helpful, rooms were clean, food was average, adequate parking, centrally located for everyone in Ohio.

It was a very nice hotel. Easy to get to. Very homy and clean. The room were nice and big. It was all round and nice stay.

The hotel did a great job overall. I think the building was clean. I wish the food were hot, and the buffet at dinner wasn't cold. The person working and serving food did a great job.

Staff was VERY accommodating. Spaces were clean and well taken care of. Meeting spaces were set up based on the requested proposals.

From the moment we checked in the staff went above and beyond. Rooms were available early and very clean. I did have an issue with the refrigerator the front desk notified maintenance and had the issue resolved in minutes. Highly recommend whether for business, convention, or personal stay you won't be disappointed. During or work stay the Dennis and Chad provided excellent customer service during lunch service and or banquet dinner enough can not be said about there exemplary service.
