Although by a corridor door, nights were quiet. Curtains provided nearly full blackout. Carpets new and clean. Tea and Coffee plentiful and good quality. Bathroom a little tired but spotlessly clean. Staff very pleasant and surroundings beautiful. As a solo traveller felt very safe.
Only little niggles. Bedding slightly stained but otherwise clean - shame as it spoilt otherwise perfect look of room.
TV had very poor reception on some channels.
I enjoyed the pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room, this and the golf course and driving range are the stars of the hotel, there is no close competitors, so these are sources of competitive advantage.
I think the Spa and pool facilities could be better. I take it as a major positive for the hotel, so why don't they keep it in tip top shape. The area with the sun lounger could they clean the air vents. Maintain the sauna better, the wood is falling apart.

In particular) and in room experience was basic for the price. Having to pay £5 per person for the swimming pool is a money grab I didn’t like - again, you are paying more than enough and they don’t refresh the room for a second night stay.
The double beds were 2 beds put together shower was powerless and bath was tiny and I was put in a room were Thier was dog in the next room barking all night!

A great, quiet place for an overnight stay or a longer stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
Some furniture already looks worn by time, the tulle is stained in places, the back of the sofa has not been vacuumed

The whole place seemed to be run down and in need of a serious revamp. Walking to my room the hallways smelt of mould. My room was not very clean at all.
