A nice hotel with lots of potential
Pros:

The location was convenient for us and the facilities met our needs. There was plenty of parking available.

Cons:

The food choices were limited and a little bland. As a member of the gym, we received no discount on the accommodation and the room was not cleaned for the entire week of our stay.

Curtain had dirty mark on and someones clothes were hanging in the wardrobe when we got there.

Had to come and get some extra pillows rather than having them brought to me and no decaf tea in the rooms and not available when asked (Although there were some at breakfast)

A nice family break away, Good value for a family of 5. Good standard of food and facilities.
Pros:

Rooms were a decent size for family. I had 2 x Double beds, plenty of room (I think extra single beds were an option too). Having a spa on site was an added bonus (although it was an extra £5 / person per visit (which I did not see in the booking details). Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and plenty of it for my hungry children. The bar was also very good, with a good selection of food and drinks.

Cons:

The rooms were not cleaned after the first night. I can't recall being informed of this, but as a 4* hotel, i expect the rooms to be cleaned every day. Not a major issue for me, as I only used the pool facilities once, but more clear communications that the gym and pool is chargeable for guests. Lastly, hotel starting to look 'tired', for example above the pool and rest areas, the paint is peeling from the ceiling.

Pros:

The hotel was full and so that evening dinner and breakfast was changed to buffet style. Dinner was nice but breakfast painful. Trays were empty and when you asked, staff were slow to replenish that we as a party of 4 ate at different times. It was as though they could not replenish on their own instinct and only when prompted.

Breakfast service. The tables in the bar area in the evening could have also have been cleaned. There were not many in the bar, yet most of the tables were dirty

Disappointed, disgusted

Hotel was disgusting and extremely dated.

Pros:

Staff extremely helpful and kind, the golf course was well kept.

Cons:
