Very clean, comfortable room
A bit dated but very comfortable hotel
Everything.. clean, comfy,,great location & lovely staff.
Nothing
We have stayed 12 times and enjoyed the facilities especially the cruise and stay
The parking is not safe. Our vehicle was broken into and badly damaged during our stay.
The hotel staff showed very little concern regarding the incident and there was no meaningful follow-up or support provided afterwards.
The restaurant menue is the same every day and not good at all. Sauna was nit working and Jacuzzi broke down on saturday. The place is only for people who play golf and other clients who want to go on cruises from Southampton.
I did not like menu, so call restaurant and it is a countryside. The place is for people who has their own transport. Room with disable access suppose to have shower with chair for disable while taking showet. In the pool, the hotel provide a proper changing room with a shower and disable chair while taking shower.
So good to Sophia back from her holiday :)
The entrance was beautiful, and bar staff
Cleanliness after meals in breakfast room, cleanilness outside bar area - rubbish, glasses not cleared away, fridge in room not working to then be told none do, lack of support when nighttime - 12am - disturbance from next room, no bar meals on the Sunday and having to pay for a buffet meal for 2 at a ridiculous price and not worth the money
The area
The room didn’t have a window and the entirety of the floor we were in had a distinct smell of cannabis
Environment
Room felt a bit dusty.
Check in was pretty quick, and all simple. Didn't get much information at the desk and had to ask about everything but girl was lovely and helpful.
The room was perfect for the 3 of us, 2 double beds and a bath and fridge which was an added bonus. Only downfall was the wheel had come off of one of the beds at the bottom so it kept squeaking and moving when we got up and down. (Room 114). The swimming pool was so warm, our 3 year old loved it! (Was surprised we had to pay £5 a head per use of the pool etc. so for the 3 of us per day costs £30. I can imagine for a big family that would be quite pricey considering payments for the hotel stay anyway. Worth the £5 a head absolutely but not per swim/day.
The restaurant has a great outdoor space to eat outside. Beautiful surroundings of the golf course and very helpful staff. Would absolutely stay again!
Although the restaurant was lovely, the food really let it down. The price doesn't reflect the quality of the food. We ordered dirty fries which was actually just cheesy chips with 5 jalapenos chucked on top for £10. And the pizza was £16 or something and was really small and just a basic cheap pizza you'd buy from Tesco's so we were really disappointed in paying that price for not very good food. (Would happily pay lots of money for decent food but wouldn't eat there again for that price considering). Kids pudding was probably the only good item purchased.
Staff was really nice friendly
Very helpful
Spa was little dissatisfying
Ground are stunning relaxing
Breakfast was a little disappointing
Also more fruit and things for meat free options
Was not going to ask as lady at the front
Checking people for breakfast was a bit
Rude
But other then that hotel brilliant
See up
