Awful, cost me 106$
Pros:

They did not honor my booking. I booked the room through Booking.com. They said they would not be able to accommodate me.

Cons:

They would not accept any form of my payment for my dog deposit. I had all of the necessary information through booking.com. Would not recommend.

It was so so.
Pros:

The location to the freeway was convenient.

Cons:

The deposit being actually charged upon check in, then processed as a return which can take 5 days to show back up into your bank account is a drag. We were going to stay an additional day, however they wanted to charge another $200 deposit to be tied up for 5 days seemed ridiculous. We left and stayed somewhere else.

RAMADA OCEANSIDE IS TERRIBLE! RAMADA SANTA BARBARA IS WAY WAY BETTER!

I requested a very late check in (3-4PM) only because we were traveling from Santa Barbara. We were just suppose to stay less than 7 hours max as check-out was at 11AM but we get there a few minutes after 4AM since the rain was pouring so hard. We were surpised that the booking was cancelled and there was no advise, no email or call. The front desk staff was not at all empathetic and we just had to book a new room as we were actually tired and got wet coming down from the car to the front desk. Room smell bad, must be the carpet. But we had to sleep/rest. At 10:45AM, we prepared to check-out by 11AM as we had a lunch meeting nearby which was the very reason why we opted to pay the full amount for the booking even if we have to stay for merely hours. So my partner went the front desk. As soon as the $200 cash deposit was returned to my partner, front desk called and said we need to vacate the room ASAP. I said we still have 15 minutes but the staff said you got the deposit so you have to go. By then my partner was not even back from the reception counter when the front desk called and the cleaning lady knocked and said she need to clean it. What a very bad way to treat your guests!

Because of our dislikes, we will not stay at a Ramada again.
Pros:

The location was within walking distance of the beach.

Cons:

The first receptionist was quite rude, but the second receptionist we saw was nice. Two people were staying, and they only provided a set of towels for one person.

The location is great and the free was convenient.

Cons:

The room had damp smell, although it looked clean, but smelled very bad.

I asked for a late checkout as I checked in at 5am .. they gave me 30min extra only (11:30am). Then I called at morning asking again, she said (we cannot) .. I said many other hotels are (flexibile) when people check in very late, she said (((WE ARE NOT))) .. the big parking space was 3 cars in it including mine, so the hotel was not busy at all
