Wonderful location, stunning architecture and design, but falls short on a handful of areas. Construction during occupation, customer service and adaptation to guest needs. All in all, a nice experience.
We have a beautiful yoga class with Alex
Alex was very dynamic and understood that body conditioning wasn’t the ideal exercise given the heat and humidity. We did yoga instead which was amazing.
Mc Calvin and all the young men valets your awesome. Every worker was friendly , helpful, and very accommodating! All went above and beyond to extend courtesy for guests! Thank you!
The service at this hotel was exceptional. The food at the restaurant Aguasal was 4/5 for dinner (cauliflower entree was unseasoned, mussels in a jar-like tomato sauce) and 5/5 continental breakfast buffet (it had roasted asparagus, lox and dragonfruit!). The cocktails at bar centro are on point. Beachside service was also impressive. A luxurious stay all around!
Miami hotels typically cater to specific cohorts; during our June 2026 four day stay, we found a refreshing mix of couples, families with teens and even toddlers or infants. Rooms are modern and comfortable, albeit closet space was non-existent (dresser was in the open closet) in hour double bed room so there was no place for our suitcases. The staff was friendly and attentive and the location with a short ride away from the shops and fantastic restaurants in south beach. Would recommend going to Lincoln Road to check out the shops and restaurants.
The only -- minor -- negative experience was the beach staff charged us $25 for a beach chair, which we only used for about 2 hours before we went back to the pool. We were told two beach chairs were included with the room even though we were booked for three guest. The beach attendant also only accepts cash so you cannot charge to our room. I don't know if this was true or if we got scammed.
Overall a great hotel in "middle" beach to avoid the negatives of staying in south beach while still being 10 minutes away.
Upgraded room was a plus. Staff was very helpful.
Praticamente tudo.
Great stay! The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. Javante provided excellent customer service and made the experience even better. I would definitely stay here again.
Harold was amazing. Very sweet, kind-hearted and such a gentleman. definitely deserves a raise.
Loved My days here and the yoga class with Jill was amazing
My wife and I recently enjoyed a staycation at the Andaz Miami Beach, and it exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff made us feel genuinely welcome and valued. Everyone was friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a smile.
The hotel itself is beautiful, with a relaxing atmosphere, excellent amenities, and a perfect beachfront location. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to unwind and enjoy our time together.
What truly stood out was the exceptional service. Every team member we interacted with went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality made us feel special throughout our visit.
This was exactly the relaxing getaway we were looking for, and my wife and I loved every minute of it. We left feeling refreshed and already looking forward to returning. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Miami Beach!
Thank you to the entire Andaz Miami Beach team for such an unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to come back!
The Andaz Miami Beach dazzles from the moment you arrive. The property brings a much-needed, high-tier Hyatt presence to the area, easily rising above the competition with its stellar service and accommodations. For World of Hyatt Globalist members, the experience is next-level—the additional amenities and perks left us feeling incredibly spoiled. It provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing, enjoyable weekend. We highly recommend this resort and will certainly return.
Andaz Miami Beach is a beautiful property, and is located in a great part of Miami Beach; close enough to everything but also quieter. The hotel is very tastefully designed and decorated; the room was beautifully decorated, clean, and very comfortable. We loved being right on the beach, and it's great that the stay includes the use of two lounge chairs and an umbrella on the beach.
The food and drinks were really good both at Aguasal and at Bar Centro. We really enjoyed the breakfast options at both, as well as the seafood options and ambiance for dinner at Aguasal. The drinks at Bar Centro were very good and creative.
The staff overall were very friendly and courteous. They really tried their best to make our stay be as good as possible.
If I could give the hotel 0 stars I would.I am writing to express my disappointment regarding our stay at your hotel last night. I travel frequently and have stayed at luxury hotels around the world, but this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have ever had.
Our issues began upon arrival. While I understand that hotels can be busy, I waited approximately 30 minutes in line to check in. That was inconvenient but understandable. Unfortunately, the problems only escalated from there.
When we arrived in our room, the temperature was 80 degrees. We lowered the thermostat and left for dinner, expecting the room to cool while we were away.
When we returned later that evening, our room keys had been deactivated because the night manager informed us after we attempted to go to our room that the associate who checked us in had failed to obtain our credit card. This was entirely an internal error, as he had run my credit card at check in, yet it resulted in another 30-minute delay at approximately 11:00 p.m. while your staff sorted out the issue and reactivated our keys. This was especially frustrating as we were traveling with our five-year-old child who was exhausted after a long day.
When we finally entered the room, the temperature was still 80 degrees. We contacted the front desk and, while engineering was sent promptly, the front desk associate was dismissive and rude. Each time I called I asked to speak to the manager and was given a series of different answers as to why they were unavailable. The “engineer” who arrived was courteous but was unable to communicate with us because of the language barrier as he did not speak English. He showed us a temperature reading at the air vent indicating that cold air was briefly coming out, but the room itself was clearly not cooling. We specifically requested to be moved to another room, as it was obvious the air conditioning was not functioning properly, but that request was denied.
We spent the entire night in a room that remained unbearably warm. By the following morning, the temperature had reached 76 degrees but was set to 66 degrees. I have included a photo below. Even the bellman noticed how hot it was when he picked up the bags.
The service issues continued the next morning. We ordered room service online as the QR code directed and waited approximately 20 minutes before calling, only to be told that no order had been received. We then placed our order over the phone, only to receive another call shortly afterward informing us that the hotel somehow had two duplicate orders.
As we were checking out around 11:00 a.m., an engineer finally arrived to inspect the air conditioning. By then it was far too late, as we were literally leaving the hotel.
When I mentioned our experience to the gentleman at the front desk who had originally checked me in, he appeared genuinely surprised that all of this had occurred. Likewise, your bellman was extremely kind, professional, and apologetic. Unfortunately, aside from those two individuals, every other employee we dealt with came across as rude, unhelpful, or dismissive.
What is most disappointing is that this situation could have been resolved with one simple decision: move our family to another room. Instead, we spent the night in an 80-degree room with a young child while multiple service failures compounded the experience.
I have stayed at hotels throughout the world, including other Hyatt properties, and this experience fell far below the standard of even a motel. I hope management will review what occurred, not only because of the inconvenience to my family, but because this reflects a serious breakdown in both customer service and operational procedures.
Great service by all. Valet. Front desk and room service. Will definitely come back. Thank you so much!
