Great experience with Chris setting up our chairs on the beach! Oliver and Jay on the beach were very pleasant to work with. The andaz is a very clean & nice hotel- would definitely come back!

He was great. He went out of his way to get us eyes without us even asking, made our stay even more welcoming.

Staff was friendly. Shout out to Radolpho in the lobby/bell stand who was kind and helpful upon our check in and our checkout, as our room wasn’t quite ready when we arrived.

Long day at the beach! Chris helped us get setup on the beach with an umbrella and Andaz stuff was attentive when we ordered lunch. Will come back again!

I first stayed at this property back when it was The Confidante, and I have to say, I’m extremely impressed with the renovation — it’s absolutely beautiful. Everyone, from reception and valet to the bellmen, dining staff, pool attendants, bartenders, and housekeeping, went above and beyond to make us feel happy and comfortable. And being just steps from the beach makes it even better!

This has been an excellent experience. We are Hyatt globalist members and have found this hotel to be superb even though it is new. It seems a little short staffed right now, but the people who have helped us have been incredible. Raul who greeted us in the valet area was not only friendly but most informative and guided us to reception where we could check in easily, even though it was a little crowded with departures. He helped us understand the elevators and has a great grasp on his position and customer service.
Emmanuel in the whole area has been superb as well. He’s knowledgeable very friendly and easy to talk to. He has great information and has us set up every day at the pool very comfortably. He is definitely a go to person for me when I have questions or need assistance. Irena is one of the servers in the pool area and at the beach. We had her at the beach and she was absolutely lovely. They have a very tough job walking in that sand all day in the heat and she keeps up her good humor and her friendly attitude. She is very experienced at what she does and professional.
Brian was our breakfast waiter and he was also very friendly and professional. It was pretty chaotic at breakfast with all the families and young children, but Brian easily kept his composure and was very kind and helpful to us. It is very obvious that Hyatt is endeavor to continue to train employees to the highest level of expectations for customer service. Although this is a new property, it is well worth the visit and patience as they figure things out as a staff and working team. Thank you, Hyatt for doing such a great job.

We had the most magical stay at the Andaz Miami Beach this weekend. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcomed and taken care of — truly above and beyond.

Special shoutout to Eric at the front desk, Elise (I hope I’m getting her name right!), Andres at the pool, Nick in the spa, and Oliver at the beach — every single one of them made our trip feel personal and memorable.

The property is beautiful, the energy is peaceful, and the level of service is exceptional. It was the perfect place for a girls’ trip and a total reset. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

The Andaz Hyatt Miami Beach was just fine, not luxury or special.

Beds were extremely comfortable, rooms definitely with new feel. We enjoyed a balcony with ocean view. The beach is nice, beach service was good. Many of the individual staff in the hotel were extremely kind (bellman). Cocktails at bar centro were very good, and the bartenders were really nice. Gym decent.

There is a CVS, a market, and a liquor store within a block. The hotel next store had a nice cafe with good pastries and sandwiches. It is a really busy intersection as many are turning left on 41st off of Collins to go across the bridge.

Art deco does not make for the warmest vibe. There were multiple housekeeping carts and mini bar cart literally parked along the narrow hallway where our room was throughout each day. Hotel was very busy and the staff was overwhelmed. We were definitely just a number, didn't feel any connection. It's relatively new, I hope they continue to improve.

Alex was a lovely, calming presence. She led a very accessible, welcoming practice. The outdoor space was very open and spacious. Plenty of room to spread out. A little noisy but that can’t always be helped. Mat and towel provided.

The interior design definitely aligns with the five star rating. The updates are absolutely beautiful. A favorite feature was the integrated LEDs lining the exterior door frames of each room. Dining on the patio at Aguasal was also a delight. Rooms are on the smaller side, but it is historic building.
What was really disappointing was the service. It was near impossible to order anything at the beach, even if you spring for a cabana (which we did hoping for better food and drink service). No offer to store our luggage at the curb at checkin. No welcome drink offered. No room cleaning after our first day ( we were out of our room from 8am-3). The room also smelled like someone had spilled spoiled milk in there, and lasted the entire trip.
I see many 5 star reviews of this hotel, but this was not our experience.
I do want to give two exceptions—we had EXCEPTIONAL service from Enrique and Bryant for dinner and breakfast respectively at Aguasal. They were fantastic. Also the crew who set up the beach chairs was wonderful.

The hotel has beautiful decor, thoughtfully designed but as I’m lying in bed at 6.30am
as I type, because our room is overlooking the industrial trash bins that are currently noisily being emptied and we are now all awake. To be honest though, I’d woken up over an hour ago because the sound proofing is so lousy that I could here our neighbors doing up their suitcase to catch their early morning flight.
Other than that it’s nice. If better stop typing now though because I’d better entertain my kids who are now all awake at this unreasonable hour. Good luck!

The beach team Daniel, Oliver, David, Jay and Chris were amazing. They helped in every way possible. Especially the food and beverage team. Ryan was super quick with my order with Kata.

It was Valentines Day, a long weekend, and the boat show was in town, so the hotel was at capacity and the restaurant booked solid. This made room service extremely slow. We had to call down twice to confirm the food was still coming. When it did come the food was wrong. By the time the correct food came up, we were in bed done for the night. The hotel handled the situation professionally and comp'ed the meal. It was not ideal but I know the hotel cared and was over-the-top-apologetic. Given how they handled this situation and that the rest of the stay was fabulous, I will not ding them a star. I will definitely be back, but perhaps not during the most peak weekend of the year.

The Andaz is AMAZING! Can't believe the amount of change from the Confidential!! What has not changed is the awesome staff - Ryan, Katarin, Emmanuel at the pool/service, Javier serving breakfast at Aguasal and Diego the evening bar at Aguasal - but also the bell hops, front desk, facilities and housekeeping were all engaging, helpful and made it a great stay. Tip - the kid pool gets sun - adult does not after 1pm so find a spot with the kiddos...

Every time I have an opportunity to come to Miami I pick this hotel! I love everything here but today’s service at the beach was 10/10.
Thanks to Oliver for fixing my chair at the beach and moving everything around to make me happy! This is truly service!
