A perfect hotel experience.
Pros:

A wonderful hotel in a great location right in the Harbor. Terrific restaurant (Onemata). The staff were very pleasant. The room was huge and well appointed, with fridge, minibar, Nespresso, powder room, separate room for shower and tub with two sinks, wardrobe, enormous bed, sitting area with large couch and table, electronic controls of lights, a balcony with a beautiful harbor view. The hotel has a large gym with many cardio machines of various types, free weights, and weight machines. The outdoor pool is heated and under cover. Walking to downtown was quick over the pedestrian bridge or through the city. The view from

Well Worth It.
Pros:

I did not expect to feel wowed by this hotel as I thought it might be a bit "flashy"for us. I was totally wrong; it was a delight from start to finsh. Very fast and friendly early check in, and thorughly good staff throughout. We had a meduim rate room and it really was excellent. Good space and everything you need, beatifully laid out.
The location is brilliant, five minute walk from the centre and ovely to be able to walk around the harbour and along the front. The open veranda makes itr feel like a streetside cafe, while still having the hotel service.
We stayed here twice , and both stays were equally good.

A great city hotel
Pros:

In short, a great stay.

The location made it easy to walk around and explore the harbor area.

Wifi was fast. The bed super comfortable. Spacious bath.

We were upgraded to a harbor view room which was nice. The balcony we had was one of the largest I've had at a hotel. We wish we had had more time to hang out on it.

We used the AMEX FHR program to book. We didn't need an early check in, but did get a room upgrade as noted above. The property credit took care of one-plus meals for two people, plus breakfast was included.

The gym was fairly well equipped, and not busy when I visited in the afternoon, but I imagine it could be in the morning, as it seems small for a hotel of its size. The pool is outside, but covered. It looked like you could swim laps, but maybe it's not intended. Kids were playing in it, so we didn't try.

All the meals we had there (lunch in the Living Room), room service, and breakfast were great. Breakfast in particular was great with a combined buffet and à la carte options.

Service was top-notch, too, with all the staff helpful and courteous.

If we visit Aukland again, we'd definitely consider staying here again.

Amazing Spa
Pros:

This review is just for the spa. It is a beautiful space, very clean and relaxing. If you book treatment of 90 minutes + you get to use the hydrotherapy room. I enjoyed the sauna and jacuzzi. For the treatment , I had 90 minutes delight plus body scrub with Elaine. I highly recommend her as she’s knowledgeable and in tune to what your body needs. It is Hyatt price, but if you’re treating yourself, it’s worth it.
