Staff needs more training regarding hospitality

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and professional, always ready to help with a smile. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location is convenient, close to everything I needed. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Thank you for the wonderful service!

I had a wonderful time at Steigneberger El Lessan! I traveled with my elderly parents whom I was visiting from the US and all 3 of us had a great time! First and foremost are the employees! Very kind, dedicated, cheerful, personable people! Did not meet a single mean or rude person! Special thanks to Nour and Youssef in the pool cafe, Youssef in the breakfast buffet and Nevine and Amir in the Fanar restaurant! Views from the hotel are amazing, pool view gets you a view of the Lessan where the Mediterranean meets the Nile and the panoramic view (front of the hotel) gives you a view of the Nile on one side, the sea on the other side and buildings in the middle, last year we had pool view, this year we had panoramic view and both were great but I slightly prefer and recommend the pool view! Room comes with an amazing breakfast buffet with so many varieties that cater to all tastes and also to dietary restrictions (lots of options that would work for gluten free and dairy free diets and also for those favoring a healthy diet but if you want to indulge you most certainly can!), they have a restaurant in the 6th floor with an amazing view of the Lessan, perfect weather, large variety and reasonable prices especially for a nice hotel, if you want to be frugal, many options are available at 10 minutes walk, where you can also find pharmacies, groceries, boat rides…etc, beach is small but very nice and has restaurant! 10 minutes by shuttle! Loved it! Will come back! Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay. Their breakfast was amazing and the staff was wonderful!

Staff are nice the reception and breakfast team, the parking and security team as well as the room service stuff fantastic, I had only one problem with Nevine at the dining area that costed me 10k after negotiations, although I explained all the situation and she introduced to me the dining area and the privacy situation for my guests 15 peoples but just before my event few minutes she asked me to pay 50k and that caused a great embarrassment to me and my guests then a group of the reception and the restaurant staff negotiated with me to make a discount to 10K it was not fair but still better than 50k but kept the embarrassment as it is

Nice hotel and nice stay

I give this Hotel a million stars. From the garage to the manager you are treated with respect and smiles. Extremely polite respectful helpful amazing people. I stayed in hotels around the world was never impressed by its cleanliness, food, service and dedications of staff, they went an extra million steps on a daily basis to make sure i was happy and content. A big thank you to all the staff from the bellman to the manager.

The room was in very bad condition with the worst mattress I ever seen(I got back pain from sleeping 2 nights), the towels weren’t clean and room wasn’t superior as I booked. I was in this hotel 3 years ago. A very big changes happened to the worst side

They don’t have spa and pool not heated and there’s no entertainment they need to hire a team to recommend places and tell us what to do on the city

The hotel is super comfortable and safe, overall everything was great except one thing but it’s not a major issue which is the A/C doesn’t have a heater and it was so cold but they provided me with extra blankets, it was a cold stay, other than that everything was fine

Visiting home city with Dad, the hotel has the best view at Ras ElBar.

Great location where the Nile river meets the Mediterranean Sea. Room 2029 2 double beds is excellent it’s near elevators and has a balcony where you can sea both the Nile and the Mediterranean. Breakfast buffet is loaded and chefs where helpful. Fast service over all. Room and premises are clean. It’s the best hotel in Damietta and serves local tourists mainly.

Wonderful!!!! Just improve terrace restaurant service communication. Offered what was not available, even in room service.

The location is nice as you get a beautiful view of the Nile river and Med sea.
