Great, walkable location! Gorgeous timeless atmosphere in both the lobby area and the room! Very close walk to the beach and plenty of nearby restaurants. The room was clean, with basic amenities and quiet at night! Very accommodating and friendly staff; I was very impressed with the service! Absolutely great value overall; I would stay here again :)
War super ... Nichts zu beanstanden
Teurer Parkplatz ... Aber das weiß man wenn man nach Miami kommt.
Leuke ruime kamers, gezellig zwembad en vriendelijk personeel. Er is een privé parking naast het hotel
Onze kamer had een beetje een muffe geur, waarschijnlijk door het vochtige weer.
Außenanlagen war ok, an der Sauberkeit könnte man arbeiten
Zimmer für drei Personen viel zu klein und sehr einfach, Fenster sind nicht zu öffnen, auch nicht im Bad, Waschbecken mitten im Zimmer

Excelente atención, instalaciones muy bien, muy linda la zona de la pileta para la vuelta del mar!!! El día que nos íbamos teníamos vuelo a la tarde y al dejar la habitación pudimos usar la pileta y nos guardaron las maletas en una habitación con llave, gracias hotel Trouvail, excelente!!!

Positives
- The decoration was as expected from the photos and very tasteful. The interior design is on point
- We had the best margarita of our whole stay at the bar downstairs. It was truly out of this world
- Communication beforehand was great and very helpful
- The location is perfect if you wish to be in a more quiet area whilst still being able to walk to the beach and to restaurants. We had the best surprise at Motek restaurant around the corner where the food is quite simply amazing.
Négatives
- Honestly the whole vibe of the hotel is very poser-y and very much the opposite of the sunny, Miami warm vibes we were expecting from the decor. The staff is not particularly friendly, they never smile and the vibes are just off. We were very disappointed and Hotel Trouvail was meant to be the highlight of our stay. The bar staff was helpful and nice but it is a separate entity
- When guests arrive they are meant to get access to their keys through a really fun and original way (no spoilers) but the staff member at reception just went to get the key in a blazé way so we never got to experience it properly. I had read about the cool experience beforehand so I was quite disappointed
- You are not allowed to open the windows and you have to leave the air on on 24/7 due to condensation and it was absolutely freezing when we arrived to our room every time. It also means the rooms are never naturally aired out
- Sound insulation is non existant and you hear all the doors as wells’ as everyone walking around at different hours of the night and early morning. The doors don’t close easily so you just hear banging constantly. We could hear people staying in the room down the hallway.
- We never used the pool because it is so small and infested with mosquitos. The beach is a much better option and we loved it there !
- We had asked if we could do a late checkout- which of course is not a given - and we understand, but we only got a proper answer an hour before checkout (we had asked the day before) so we had already organised ourselves.
Overall I just think that you pay for the lovely decor and location. Even though I place interior design at the top of the list of what I am looking for in a hotel, I just believe it is very expensive for small rooms that look great in photos but that are not particularly comfortable. And again, it’s all about the vibes !
Great "Boutique Hotel" that's conveniently located with a friendly front desk staff. Easy check in online with surprisingly good communications throughout the process. Location on main road with a convenient bus stop right across the street that provides "Express Service" to Miami Airport. Definitely would stay there again.
There was nothing to not like about this hotel it has a very nice vibe about it
