The staff were all very friendly but not overly so. You were made to feel welcome and could get help if you needed it. The pool and drinks are very good. Some touch ups at the property are needed over time but we had a very nice stay.
For an american, this place is like a really cheap motel but on a very beautiful beach. Inside the room, the bathroom etc is very outdated. The shower head seems to be 20 years old with soap scum all over it. Chipped paint everywhere. The management and people are okay but the place is just outdated and needs a serious renovation.
Would not recommend. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable and No hot water.

This place is delightful. The staff were kind and accommodating. It was beautiful and quiet. We felt like we were the only ones there. If the beds had been more comfortable we would have liked it more. They were very hard.. I’m not sure we would choose it again since sleep is important to us.

The property is nice, it needs maintenance and there were very few people on the property. The location of the property is very good as well. Our experience was ok, we were on a relaxing vacation. Will probably not visit again depending on what our goal is.
Amazing hotel filled floor to ceiling with artwork and sculptures. Friendly, helpful staff, good food. It needs work but for the price it's great.
This hotel and its day was beautiful, it is now a little aged and because of the time of year there weren’t very many other guests. That was absolutely perfect for my stay. Staff was very friendly. Hotel was clean, however shows its age, I would stay here again.
You get large quiet space to relax, or enjoy the art gallery throughout lobby and corridors.
Excellent food, and hospitality.
And the last, but not the least, lovely cats well taken care of at the corner.

Property is 35 yrs old and is a liitle frayed at the edges but we would stay here again.
Very duty no service falling apart pool dirty
Has everything on a smaller version, beachfront was the main reason.
Pool is great, ocean view is beautiful. Older outdated hotel. Enjoyed the quietness, non competition for chairs at the pool or beach. Some nice art work on display. An alarming amount of feral cats sitting down by security gate. It was quite scary.
This is more of a couples hotel not a family type but it was ok. Be aware that our room had not much privacy almost if the walls were made out or paper not much insolation sounds proof. But again it was ok cause we didn’t spend much time in the room.
The place really shouldn’t be offered by hotels.com. It’s falling apart and the photos don’t appropriately show you what to expect. Unless it was completely overhauled I would never stay there or recommend
