An excellent hotel and the staff are exceptional!!!! Really coildnt do enough for you!!
Pros:

Everything is excellent
After a week the food became repetitive, but there is loads of choice and great quality!!

Cons:

The live music, which i appreciate is a personal choice was outdated and poorly arranged. The two musicians clearly have talent but the arrangements and backing tracks were just herendous. Didnt ruin the stay as the hotel has enough bars and areas that you dont have to listen to it!!

Pros:

It is a very beautiful place, and the room was very nice

Cons:

A lot of the staff was so angry 😡 not service minded at all, no smile, no nothing and not very polite. It was like they didn’t like to be there.
We came with our own taxi driver to the hotel, and he came to pick us up for the airport again, but when he came, the guard at the gate, told him that we was already gone with another taxi, (so the Hotel could have the ride) but he new it was a lie, he contacted us, and we was still at the hotel waiting for him to drive us to the airport, and he told the guard that she was wrong, and we was still there, and then she let him through the gate to pick us up…….. that is so bad 😝😡 I don’t like that at all…… very bad service 😡🤬😡🤬

Pros:

La posizione è magnifica. Si può ammirare il fenomeno delle maree. La sabbia è bianchissima e la spiaggia deserta. Vi è una bella barriera corallina dove fare snorkeling (da raggiungere in due minuti di barca).
Lo staff è attentissimo alla pulizia ed è molto amichevole. Il cibo è squisito (il cuoco è italiano).
Dalle nostre camere deluxe si ammirava il mare ed una splendida alba.
I miei figli hanno adorato il team di animazione e le loro iniziative.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Club Dongwe.
Pros:

Hotel Club Dongwe has an excellent location and a beautiful jetty.
We enjoyed swimming and snorkelling.
It also has a magnificent pool.
The staff are very professional and friendly.
We would like to visit Hotel Club Dongwe again in the future.

Relaxing and wild, amazing staff
Pros:

Beautiful hotel fully integrated in the environment. Staff if extremely gentle. Great customer service always available to satisfy any request. Some of the facility may be renovated but anyway everything is very clean.

Sellers on the beach disturb during the day. Good that there is a limit they cannot go through so they don't come close sunbeds. Anyway there is hotel security to keep them away.

Cons:

Low light inside rooms. It's great to have soft lights but there should be the option to have more light at least in front of the mirror in the bathroom.

Pros:

i loved the Zanzibari staff. amazing people, very helpful and humble. Always smiling.
ginger lady in the reception very friendly

Cons:

1. hotel is mainly made Italian guests. everything there is in italian. stand up comedies are in italian, although there were russian, belarusian, english french and polish guests.
2. the main chef is very rude to the staff. very unprofessional if it comes to giving feedback. gives it in front of guests which makes it very uncomfortable for both guests and staff. He never somes and talks to guests, unless they are italian. menu is also made for italian guests. pizza and pasta all day long. very poor breakfast
3. internet. have to be begged to get.
4. the cashier in the souvenir store very cheeky. always tells that she doesn’t have the change. the only Zanzibari that wasnt friendly.
5. althought all the attractions are mentioned as in the listing when it comes to renting you have to pay for everything.

Pros:

The hotel is very serene, with great customer service and friendly employees. The beach and the pool activities were awesome too.
A suprise birthday cake crowned the stay.

Cons:

There is very minimal use of international language (English) making people who are not Italians left out. The activities are great but there is a gap of inclusivity due to the language barrier

SOLO RESERVA SI ERES ITALIANO
Pros:

El hotel en sí es precioso. La piscina es una de las mejores que hemos visto por Zanzibar y el hotel es grande y las instalaciones son amplias y muy cuidadas.

Nuestra sorpresa fue cuando nada más llegar, hay un cartel dando la bienvenida en italiano (debajo en inglés, en pequeño, cuando todos los hoteles es todo en inglés). Desde el recepcionista, hasta quien limpia, quien atiende en los bares, restaurantes, en la tienda de souvenirs del hotel y quien vigila habla italiano.

Tienen un acuerdo con una agencia italiana, que les lleva grupos cada cierto tiempo. El hotel solo tiene a estos grupos como huéspedes, ya que es casi imposible no ver a gente italiana de allí.

La animación de la noche también es en italiano.

Vamos, que una decepción total porque te hacen sentirte excluida.
