Me he quedado varios hoteles en esa ciudad y definitivamente este es mi favorito y es el número uno. Volveré pronto
Staff was amazing, good Ameneties, very good breakfast.
As someone coming from the hotel industry, I naturally pay attention to many details. However, both as a guest and as a hotel furniture planner, what really stood out to me was the wardrobe design.
Unfortunately, the wardrobes are not optimal — there is too little storage space for two people, and there are hardly any shelves to properly store folded clothes. It’s quite disappointing that for a brand and level of this standard, such an important aspect of the planning was overlooked.
Checking in was horrible they were not helpful at all even we reached at 11 and the rooms were available which I checked online but they kept waiting us till 12.30 very bad experience will never go again

Since its opening in 2019, Rosewood Guangzhou has quickly become a popular social media hotspot, thanks to the striking exterior of the East Tower designed by KPF and the interior spaces crafted by Yabu Pushelberg. Its visual appeal is beyond dispute, every shot effortlessly delivers a sense of drama and style. Yet among frequent guests, opinions have long been divided. Boasting the city's tallest skyscraper, prime location and unrivalled panoramic views, its service standards once struggled to match its exceptional hardware, a sentiment I shared during my two previous stays.
That said, Rosewood's keen understanding of the female guest segment cannot be overlooked. My mom was so impressed by her stay at Rosewood Hong Kong that she specifically requested Rosewood again for this Guangzhou trip. Happy to accompany her, I took the opportunity to revisit and observe the hotel's evolution. Occupying the top 39 floors of the East Tower, Rosewood Guangzhou may have lost its title as the world's highest hotel to the Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur and J Hotel Shanghai in terms of architectural height, yet its operational floors remain the highest among hotels worldwide. Combined with the Rosewood Residences in the mid-section, the entire property offers 606 rooms, making it the largest Rosewood hotel globally by volume.
Booked through Eight Continents, my stay was preceded by a personal call from a Rosewood butler to confirm details, followed by a proactive WeChat add-on to discuss preferences. I had originally requested a tower-view room, but ended up in a Deluxe City View Twin Room to accommodate the twin-bed requirement. Though no upgrade was provided, the overall service far exceeded expectations. The welcome amenities included not only the standard fruit platter but also two complimentary cakes from Butterfly Patisserie downstairs, thoughtful and delightful. This marked my first stay since Rosewood’s brand visual refresh in 2025: the new collaterals boast noticeably improved texture, with the signature Explorer Green palette pleasing to the eye and the ballpoint pen feeling solid and well-crafted. The room key design, however, has grown generic, losing its former distinctiveness. The guest room is slightly compact, and the bathroom features only a single vanity basin, hardly appropriate for a hotel at this price point, though other facilities are fully equipped. The turndown service stood out in particular: a bottle of plum wine with ice, paired with a caviar and salmon savoury tart, elegantly understated and perfectly executed. It was clear that advance communication had made all the difference.
Rosewood Guangzhou is quietly getting better. From the attentive pre-arrival coordination by the butler team and refreshed brand details to the warm, thoughtful amenities, its progress is plain to see. It no longer relies solely on its height and views to impress, but strives to create a sense of belonging high above the clouds. The sweeping spiral staircase and communal round dining table inside the Xi Guan House both reflect thoughtful touches of home comfort. On this visit, Rosewood Guangzhou's remarkable improvement was truly undeniable.
I recently stayed at the Rosewood Guangzhou, and it completely exceeded my expectations.
From the moment I arrived, everything felt elevated. The hotel sits at the top of one of the tallest buildings in Guangzhou, so the views are honestly unreal—especially at sunset and at night when the whole city lights up.
The room itself was beautifully designed. Very modern, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out, with floor-to-ceiling windows that make you feel like you’re floating above the city. The attention to detail was impressive, from the materials used to the overall atmosphere—it felt both luxurious and comfortable at the same time.
Service was also a standout. Staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. Everything was handled smoothly from check-in to check-out.
The facilities were equally impressive. The gym is one of the best I’ve seen in a hotel, and the pool area has an amazing skyline backdrop. It’s the kind of place where you actually want to spend time, not just quickly pass through.
Location-wise, it’s right in the heart of the city, making it easy to get around, whether you’re there for business or leisure.
Overall, this is easily one of the top luxury hotels in Guangzhou. If you’re looking for a stay that combines design, comfort, and incredible views, I’d highly recommend it.
My stay at Rosewood Guangzhou truly changed the way I experienced the city. More than just a hotel, it felt like a sanctuary and a private community in the sky. What touched me most was the residential-style design it gave the space a warmth and comfort that made me feel instantly at home. The level of service was something I deeply appreciated. The manager extended such thoughtful, white-glove service, and every small request was met with care and grace. The team was incredibly patient, kind, and attentive, which made me feel genuinely taken care of throughout my stay. A highlight for me was spending the evening at Too High on the 107th floor. Watching the skyline at night while listening to a wonderful live jazz band created one of the most special memories of my trip. Rosewood Guangzhou does not just offer beautiful hospitality it creates moments that stay with you.
From the moment we arrived, it already felt special. The lobby sits on the 95th floor, the highest we’ve ever checked into, with stunning views of Canton Tower.
We stayed for three nights, with our room located on the 104th floor. It had everything we needed, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and each day came with a sweet surprise, from a mille-feuille welcome to orange cakes, and canelé on our last night. The city view was beautiful by day, and even more magical at night.
The experience goes beyond the room. There’s a 24-hour gym overlooking the skyline, but what really made us want to stay in were the dining spots. We loved Lingnan House, enjoyed a generous breakfast at Patina, and had a great time at Black Iron.
We ended our stay at Too High, a go-to spot for nightlife in Guangzhou.
An experience we won’t forget.
We have stayed in Rosewood for 4 nights, visiting with friends. The property is pretty new and well maintained. We loved our room on the 101st Floor and the view. They provided additional pillows upon request, the housekeeping was efficient. We have tried the restaurant Lingnan House on the first evening and the food was excellent. However, the service in the restaurant could be improved. The location is good. Would stay here again.
I stayed at the Rosewood Residence for one night. I requested for a memory foam pillow to be sent to my room twice, but it never got delivered. The next morning, I discovered there's a thread of hair that is not mine on the bed, and that there is also a hole on the sheets. The hotel's management is quite disappointing.
