Well situated near bus station and train station. Ealking distance. Also shops and restaurant nearby
My sister and I spent one night at this hotel.
Struggling with language. The reception staff was barely speaking English.
The room is very basic and the toiletries out dated.
We asked for a taxi and they refused to book one for us saying that we could have done ourselves.
I forgot a jacket in the room and requested to be sent to Brussels where we were heading to the next day and they said I needed to pay for the parcel, eventually they never sent it.
My advice is do not book this hotel.
It is close the the centre and the station but we never felt safe during the night time while returning to the hotel.
This hotel is perfect if you want to stay close to the Antwerp Train Station.
Great
I was first given a room which did not have an AC remote. So I had to go to the reception, and they provided me with a new room. In that room the AC had a remote but the AC wasn’t working - showing an error. I had to go to reception again and they said they will send a technician, no one came. I had to go to the reception multiple times. Mind you that even the lift wasn’t working for the entire time, which means I had to get up and down 3 floors every time. When I complained I was asked if I would work with a fan. Finally around 4pm I got a room which had an AC working. The hotel was otherwise good with good beds. But if something is not working, it will take forever to get solved. Ruined my entire stay because of the constant running.
Staffs were nice, the property is quite old, needs to renovate.
Everything was good
Amazing and near to everything in mind. Everything is a walking distance
Elevators broken. Street is horrible for parking. Noisy clients and screams in other roomss
There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, which was odd, as all previous hotels i’ve used in the past do. They did provide ‘free’ tea/coffee if you had a paid breakfast (I didn’t have any) but I was allowed to take hot water.
The lifts worked occasionally, so I had to use the stairs frequently.
The hotel Wi-Fi constantly dropped the signal.
I did enjoy the bed, so much so I slept for 12 hrs. This was after a long day driving from the UK.
The bathroom was modern and clean.
The hotel carpark was a squeeze to get in from the street and the ramp was a little steep, catching my bumper!
It was in a great location to the centre of Antwerp.
Antwerp is a beautiful place to visit and would come again and stay at the Eden Hotel.
Super friendly and helpful staff, the location is also excellent.
Management should double check the rooms(beds for instance)more frequently and replace what cannot be cleaned.
Thank you.
This hotel is very ‘tired’. The room was poorly decorated and equipped. There was scant space, furniture or facilities. There was no tea/coffee making facilities and apart from the beds little to sit on or do things.
The general atmosphere was dowdy and poor. We felt that for a very small uplift in rate we could have stayed in one of the corporate hotels and achieved much better value. The parking is underground and secure but at €20 per night extra just made the experience feel less good value.
.
Very rough around the edges but you get what you pay for. Was clean enough and the bed was comfy. I hardly got any sleep during the second night because the lift outside my room (201) was making very loud squeaking noises ever time it was beung used. I only realised it was the lift when I left. Will probably stay here again but not in a room next to the lift or in obe facing the street
Anshu was here. The hotel is just 2 steps away from an all vegetarian Indian hotel - Aahar. It’s centrally located and the city centre is 10-15 minutes walk. The staff is helpful. Overall an average hotel but good for the price. So can consider
The reception is really friendly, but the condition of the room is so terrible with bad smell and dirt on the sheet.
Pros: good location, reasonable price.
Cons: while checking out, the reception lady quite aggressively claimed that I didn't pay city tax. Of course, I paid and the receipt was on the reception table, but she didn't want to check for it, instead, demanding me to pay it again. Eventually she "acctidentally" found the receipt and said "okay, you paid it". No apologies for being rude and wasting my time for absolutely no reason.
Poor internet
Very quiet location yet near Antwerp Central Station, the shopping streets and the city’s Diamond district.
Rather big and clean rooms with TV, airco, great beds/pillows, clean bathroom, fridge would be nice upgrade.
Great and helpfull staff. I leave before breakfast so can’t judge that. Great value for money,I find!
Centrally located. Excellent location close to train station and quieter than being on the main streets. Excellent location for working in diamond district
