Poor quality for the price
Pros:

The location was good.

Cons:

The bed was uncomfortable with springs poking into you. The mattress was more suitable for a child! Very poor quality bed. The whole hotel is shabby and needs upgrading with paint. No character no colour cheap fittings.

Pros:

Heated towel rails in the bathroom. Fully equiped kitchen was good. Comfortable bed. Great Indian restaurant 50 metres away.

Cons:

Dryer not working. Found this after already doing a load of washing. No signage. Front desk staff offered another dryer 2 floors down. Luckily I travel with a clothesline and pegs. Our room looked like a Chinese laundry. There were old fittings still attached to bathroom wall. The toilet roll kept coming off the holder. The TV was on a very low table. Expect a better experience from the Ramada.

Downtown location was convenient and within walking distance to everything
Pros:

It was a great location. It was very convenient having a washer and dryer in my bathroom.

Cons:

The only issue I had was one day my room didn’t get cleaned.

Pros:

Ishaan, the manager on site was very friendly and helpful. We had a room on the 3rd floor with a good view. A stone's throw away from the skytower and other CBD attractions. Was able to store luggage until check-in as our flight was early.

Strange and no regard for guest security

Very odd arrival process, three separate bookings were all outside the intercom at 8pm (despite having given arrival times in advance) - there were no staff, and we had to give our credit card details verbally OVER THE INTERCOM in order to be let in. The ridiculousness, and lack of security, in this process was totally bizarre. I also then left something behind and called AND emailed about it within a couple of hours - I was told they would get in touch and it’s a week later and I’ve heard nothing.
