Hotel was comfortable and family friendly
Yeh bar food was poor for the prices. Poor quality pizzas .
Great location ,parking and friendly staff
Uncomfy beds and no toiletries
The outdoor/garden area has had money spent on it and is nicely quirky. the bar area pleasant.
Their check in is 4pm which is later than the majority of every other hotel. They wanted £20 to check in at 2pm, which we didn't pay. No fridge in room ( we bring our own milk when travelling, it went off). cobwebs in corner of room. Around windows paint work bad. No plug sockets near either side of beds. Food not great at breakfast. A good 10 min walk in to town, but directly opposite train station. Not worth £204 for 1 night at all, very disappointed and would not recommend hotel, at all.
Large rooms clean tidy welcoming had everything we needed large bed too whole hotel was clean
The outside looks tired and worn such a shame for a histric building also the water feature needs to be maintained such a shame again
Great location directly opposite the station and 10 mins walk from town. Well maintained and lovely bar and gardens.
Shower was a bit grubby needs new mastic and light above bath was hanging out of the ceiling.
Lovely building and extremely welcoming
The location , setting , staff and room
Nothing
Location just opposite the railway station and less than ten mins walk into the centre , Superb garden when weather good
Glad we upgraded our room which was very worth while
Proximity to the Train Station
Small Lift, Pillows on the Bed too Big, we prefer Flatter pillows, got the spare ones out of the Wardrobe and they were exactly the same 😡
Location
Room was dirty,tv had no remotecontrol…when i asked one, then they brought, but it was not for that tv,what was in the room..
