Insgesamt war es aber ein angenehme Aufenthalt, und die zentrale Lage sind auf jeden Fall zehn Pluspunkte.
Pros:

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral. Die Rezeption ist 24 Stunden besetzt und alle Mitarbeiter waren stets sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.
Wichtig zu wissen wäre vielleicht, dass man eventuell sehr viele Treppen laufen muss bis zu seinem Zimmer. Je nachdem, wie viel Gepäck man dabei hat, oder wie oft man das am Tag machen muss, könnte das ein Punkt sein, der schwierig ist.
Es gab ein Wasserkocher und eine kleine Kapselmaschine, und jeden Tag wurden zwei neue Kapseln zur Verfügung gestellt. Das fanden wir toll!

Cons:

Sehr viele Treppen und verwinkelte Wege.
Geputzt wurde jeden Tag.
Schade, fand ich, dass Handtücher ausgewechselt wurden, obwohl man diese nicht auf dem Boden zum wechseln geworfen hatte.
An meinem Bett gab es einfach in dem klebte noch eine alte Kontaktlinse und Haare von vorherigen Gästen. Das fand ich unangenehm.

Great no frills hotel
Pros:

Great no frills and hotel very central so easy to get about by foot to places of interest.
We Stayed here 27th Dec for 3 nights
Our room which was on the same floor as the reception area was very clean and had everything we needed for our short break.
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.
I'd definitely stay here again as it was good value for money.

Pros:

The accommodation was a last minute booking due to our other accommodation cancelling. Hotel Van Gelger was a five star booking because of the exceptional receptionist named Augustin who did everything possible to ensure we had a perfect room to prepare for our marathon weekend. The hotel was clean, accommodating, welcoming & the most central location. I would stay again & highly recommend.
