From the moment we arrived until the moment we checked out, The Hermitage Hotel exceeded every expectation we had.

We traveled to Nashville to celebrate my daughter's 16th birthday and to pick up her new puppy, making this one of the most special trips we've ever taken. I wanted everything to be perfect for her, so before our arrival I purchased a few special items from the gift shop to surprise her in our room.

When I realized there had been a little mix-up and the items had never been shipped, I called the hotel and had the pleasure of speaking with Amberlyn at the front desk. Rather than trying to rush the shipment, she suggested keeping everything at the hotel and having it beautifully arranged in our room before we arrived. She immediately put me at ease and even offered to have chocolate covered strawberries waiting to make my daughter's birthday even more special.

What happened next completely exceeded anything I could have imagined.

When we opened the door, the room was beautifully prepared for my daughter's birthday. The Hermitage puppy package was perfectly arranged on the bed, complete with the sweetest giant stuffed puppy that the gift shop staff had added as an extra surprise. There were gorgeous birthday flowers in the cutest cowboy boot vase, festive balloons, a handwritten birthday card, and the most incredible chocolate covered strawberries I've ever seen.

As if that wasn't enough, they upgraded us to a beautiful Capitol View Double Queen room and had it ready when we arrived around noon, allowing us to check in early and start enjoying our stay right away.

Every single person we encountered made us feel genuinely welcome. The front desk staff were warm and personable, the valet and door staff were wonderful, the bartenders and restaurant servers were fantastic, and the bakery had some of the best sweets we've ever had.

It is rare to find a hotel where hospitality feels this genuine. Everyone seemed to truly care about making our stay special.

I wanted this birthday trip to be something truly special for my daughter, and your team made it even more magical than I could have imagined. It is a trip we will remember forever, and The Hermitage became such an important part of those memories.

A special thank you to Amberlyn and everyone who had a hand in making this celebration so unforgettable. You didn't just provide a beautiful place to stay. You created an experience that touched our hearts and gave us memories we'll cherish for a lifetime.

From the incredible beauty of your property to the exceptional service from everyone we encountered, this was one of the finest hotels we’ve ever experienced.

This hotel is fabulous! The food is incredible and we will never stay anywhere else while visiting Nashville.

The staff was excellent, from the moment you pulled up to the hotel, the hotel and room were beautiful, the views from our room to the capital were great.

We had a phenomenal time at the Hermitage. The staff is warm and welcoming, the check in/check out process is seamless, the restaurants on property are top notch, the rooms were spacious and spotless and the hotel is beautiful and thoughtfully designed down to every last detail. We were right next to the entertainment and arts center so you're across the street for a show! A few blocks away from Broadway to experience nightlight and live music while far enough away that it was quiet at night so we could sleep. The beds and pillows were so comfortable and we really appreciated the little touches like turn down service with water and chocolates by the bed at night and a fully stocked bar in the room.

We went for a family wedding. It was the perfect place for a wedding and time spent with people you love. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The service was second to none. No detail was missed. The food in both restaurants was delicious. Everything from start to finish was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. We highly recommend!

We were previously booked at a different hotel but that hotels bad service landed us at the Hermitage. We have so much regret for not booking the Hermitage Hotel first. We had an amazing stay. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. My favorite moment was chatting briefly with the front desk about the items on the shelves from previous famous guests. The Hermitage will be a out Nashville go-to hotel from now on. I have no negatives about the hotel at all!

This is a fabulous hotel experience. The classic beauty and charm, excellent staff, proximity to downtown Nashville, attention to detail. I could go on and on. Absolutely amazing!!! This will be the ONLY hotel we will stay at during any Nashville trip!!!

The hotel biggest drawback was a lack of a dresser or drawers to unpack into. We had to keep our suitcases open and keep searching for "what was where".

We rested in the tub one afternoon. It was lovely. The shower was spacious and the hotel provided all the needed shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The water pressure was very good and the shower head was sufficient to make us feel good. Towels were large and plentiful. Face cloths were harder to come by.

Housekeeping was available each day (one day we declined) and there was a turn down service each evening with water bottles and chocolate pieces. Chocolate chip cookies were offered each afternoon around 3pm with lemon/limeade.

Morning coffee stopped service at 9am and we missed it each morning due to late nights. We were able to order a small pot of coffee (3-4 cups plus condiments) to the room for about $11. We ordered in room breakfast on Sunday am - food was very good!

Staff was attentive and helpful. Taxis were arranged through the front desk. Check out was easy and one item on the bill had to be corrected as it was not our charge.

I was happy with my choice of the Hermitage for my brief stay in Nashville - excellent location in the heart of downtown within walking distance of all the action and live music, a beautiful open lobby, and a vibey low-lit downstairs restaurant and bar area. I had a nice corner room (316) which was spacious and clean. My only complaint was that breakfast was a bit of a disappointment, but I'd definitely return.

Wow. What a wonderful experience. This was my wife and I’s first time to Nashville. The Hermitage is absolutely gorgeous and everyone that works there is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The customer service was impeccable. The lobby alone is worth a visit. Our room was spacious and classy. We could not have had a better time. Just a couple blocks to Broadway and all the action but far enough that you’re away from the noise. It’s a splurge but worth it.
