Adequate for our needs.
Pros:

Near family and convenient as we worked on our house. Great places to eat within 1.5 miles. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Their effort made the stay better. There was plenty of room, a desk, 3 chairs (2 were for the desk and table and one for the tv), a table and roomy counters. Plenty of parking.

Cons:

The hotel is pet friendly and we had bug bites by the mornings. We did not have any pets into our room. We also requested a toaster daily without ever receiving one for our room.

It was do-able for the weekend, but most likely won't stay at this location again unless renovated.
Pros:

Very good location for AIM sports complex, and overall pretty clean.

Cons:

Badly needs a renovation, photos must be very old! Everything was clean from what I saw which was good, but just outdated. Fridge in room would not get cold, freezer was fine, but fridge/freezer had weird smell to it!

Was told by staff we had to gather up all ours used towels and bring downstairs if we wanted new towels which I thought was weird.

Disappointing
Pros:

The location was ok.

The huge roach that crawled across the floor. The staff cleaned it up and a photo is attached.

I rented a room here for my dog Mamba and I because I was hosting a beach party at Bolsa Chica and did not want to drive
Pros:

Cons:

Smelled like fresh caught fish in the lobby and elevator at one point when I returned to the hotel

Pros:

This Extended Stay America is suitable for guests looking for a basic overnight room. The property has a large parking area, a welcoming lobby and great customer service. The rooms are especially convenient for longer stays because they include a full-size refrigerator, microwave, two-burner cooktop, sink, cabinets, and counter space for preparing meals. The bathrooms in the room are basic but include a full bathtub and shower, vanity area, towels, and a hair dryer.
The on-site laundry room is another major advantage, with several washers and dryers, vending machines and an ice dispenser. The complimentary morning breakfast station provides coffee, hot water, oatmeal, fruit bars, muffins and creamers. It is helpful, although guests expecting a full hot breakfast may find it limited.

The hallways and some interior finishes look somewhat dated, and the rooms are structurally weak so you can hear loud banging of doors from adjacent rooms and trampling of feet from the rooms above.
The hotel is located near commercial and industrial properties, so it may be better suited to business travelers, longer stays, and guests with a vehicle than those looking for a resort-style atmosphere

The parking was good and good price for the location. It was an overall good experience.

Cons:

There was little black bugs flying in the room and there was hair in the bathroom on toilet and. In the shower.

Nice staff but hotel has room for improvement
Pros:

The property was quiet, liked the blackout curtains in the room, comfortable room temperature, sufficient parking, and the grab and go breakfast items were a nice touch.

Cons:

Upon arrival I noticed the room smelled like smoke and counter in the bathroom was dyed/stained (by hair dye I think but looked very disturbing). The hotel is in great need of re-painting and new carpets. Fortunately the staff member working the desk was understanding and able to help change my room. I didn’t love that the keys randomly stopped working. It took a total of 4 trips up and down from the third floor to complete the room change since the keys would not work after only holding them in my hand (not anywhere near any electronics). The room we changed too was way better but the microwave didn’t work and toilet clogged after normal use. I also didn’t love that you need to request various dishes for your room to utilize the kitchenette but I understand why they do that. I’ve seen other hotels with similar layouts fully stock in-room kitchens so this was a bit of a let-down. The other room my party booked had trash still inside from the previous guest.

The front desk staff member was super busy but very kind and accommodating. I believe they are overworked and just spread too thin. I hope they can get more staff working there.

Worst Hotel I've ever stayed at
Pros:

We had a room

Cons:

The filthiness, the stench of cats, trash, and piss. The saddest breakfast ever which shouldnt be listed as breakfast. I had to visit the front desk 20 times at least to ask for stuff I need like new towels, utensils, cookware, toilet paper, trash bags, a broom.
