I especially liked that the Hotel had luggage carts, and an excellent TV, convenient handicapped parking, great size of microwave and refrigerator with freezer, and great internet. I also liked that the lobby bathroom was kept clean. And I also liked that there was great water pressure in the shower and the water was comfortably hot and not medium hot. I especially liked how Hotel Employee deVita was so nice to us. She brought a luggage cart out to our entrance door which made unloading our stuff much more convenient. This was very much appreciated. I will be a repeat customer because of deVita!
I did not like that the Hotel did not provide a coffeemaker in the guestroom. The restaurant next door was supposed to give us a discount when we showed our room key to our waitress but the restaurant's manager was not aware of any such arrangement. The room next to our room was being renovated during our stay so we were awake at sunrise to the sounds of drilling and hammering. We were not offered any compensation for this. Our bathroom did not have safety bars installed. The patio outside our room was surrounded by a fence that had been torn apart, allowing our patio to be viewed from the visitors to the restaurant next to us.
The room was spacious and quiet. The mattress was old (I could feel the springs) however strangley I slept fine. AC was good and didn't make.any loud noises.
Extremely unkempt grounds and common areas. The giant spa tub was ridiculous and OLD. The fridge freezer was ild, the freezer part needed to be defrosted...it was a solid block of ice. The toilet ran and was at least a foot away from the wall. There was unfinished repairs (holes in the walls, unpainted areas, etc...). Carpet was old and stained. Quite possibly the worst looking room I've ever stayed in. And for $300 a night?!?! Wow. Do not stay there, not worth it.
Location
Smelly, old, pool was unusable due to the chlorine being extremely high our eyes were burning, it was so strong it stung my daughters feet, I had my 5 mth old grandchild and he could not go near the pool! We chose this hotel for the pool! The price was extreme for a place without a usable pool!
The ice machine on our floor was broken or empty for 2 days.
Main light, only light in bathroom flickered on and off
Surrounding grounds had garbage and cut down branches in lot. They offer a balcony but it overlooks junk. The first room had a “balcony” that was a slab of concrete surrounded by weeds and overgrown grass!!Could not understand the woman at the front desk.
The cleaning staff opened our door at 10:00 - check out 11:00, if not for the deadbolt they would have been in room! The cleaning staff in hallways were unfriendly - rude.
The bathroom in lobby was full of toilet paper and filled with poop!!! Disgusting!! The only good thing about this hotel is the location but the entrance to this place is weird and road is broken down too!
Beds very uncomfortable. Mice running behind the walls. Towels small.
Good price. Rooms were clean. I liked the sliding door to patio
How wet the hall rug was near the pool
Great place to stay, location was great, diner attached, clea. Pool and very quiet
Rooms starting to age
The overall room vibe and layout was nice, the sheets and pillows were overall pretty clean. The porch view was a nice addition, but the scenery wasn't anything to write home about. It was also pretty close to the major spots we wanted to visit.
The cleanliness of the whole hotel could've definitely been better. They only changed sheets and towels every 3 days, which was ridiculous. You could also tell that they didn't thoroughly go through the different parts of the room as there were certain spots that weren't clean. For example, the shower soap holder was obviously not cleaned since there was old soap residue from whoever was there last. We also had a towel that had a hair on it. On our second day, we asked if they could do a room cleanup since we were planning on going out. Apparently the cleaners left early so they couldn't do it, but when we went back we saw the cleaning equipment outside our room in the hallway. So either they left and just didn't bother to move the dirty equipment, or they were still there and the front desk lady didn't know. For us, cleanliness is the most important thing, and unfortunately this stay didn't fully live up to our expectations.
Bed comfort, location, two sinks, , relative .ly decent reno & cleanliness.
Could use larger frig, no in room tea/coffee maker, no breakfast,
We left early because the room was so unclean—stained sheets with hair all over the bed (not our hair!), AWFUL smell in hallways masked by chemical cleaner in room, and yet the lobby is newly renovated and sparkling clean…
When we checked in, the desk clerk was literally on the phone with someone else also wanting a refund because their room was gross. Devastated that we lost this money.
Room smelled of smoke, and several items were broken including two lamps and hairdryer. Exit door was jammed and could not exit the building. My vehicle was vandalized in the parking lot necessitating a police report. I would not recommend this motel.
Close to attractions and interstate
Front check in staff very nice
Dark hallways , no cups with ice bucket , no coffee offered , no privacy hangers for doors , outlets in room did not work to charge phones , hallway carpets stained and dirty , overall fair price but would not stay again
Work in progress. Construction also across the way. Time will tell on this hotel. For the price, I would stay again. You get what you pay for.
Towels and wash cloths were subpar. A second bar of soap would have been nice. A coffee-making machine in the room would also be a good addition.
