We found the Biltmore Coral Gables to be beautiful but haunting. No, we did not see a ghost. However, we all experienced a very heavy feeling as we appreciated the significant history of this hotel.
The pool was absolutely beautiful with warm water. We enjoyed swimming, but the pool did have a lot of gnats and bees floating in the water. I imagine that it is difficult to keep such a large pool clean. The pool bar was not open when we were swimming at 6 pm.
We were there on a Sunday, and it was difficult finding a restaurant that was open late. We had to get KFC. If you are arriving late. I recommend having some snacks and drinks with you, and a car is necessary for any shopping or restaurants other than those in the hotel.
We recommend the Biltmore Coral Gables.
Hilda was great, brunch was lovely.

$500 a night:
- upon arrival elevators did not work; had to take back of the house service elevators
- this hotel is in the middle of nowhere - needed Tylenol at night; no chance to get it 12am to 9am … there is no kiosk; concierge is totally unhelpful
- cockroaches running in the room
- the whole place is enormous … old … not kept well. Windows facing a hole in a wall covered with piece of wood.
Ridiculous - shame on Biltmore and its staff.
Very helpful and kind staff!
Facilities built like a beautiful palace!
We absolutely loved this resort. The pool is breathtaking: one of the largest I've ever experienced, also with Venetian statues, and a couple of waterfalls. The entire resort is stunning. Especially the restarante Fontana and it's courtyard.
Service was also outstanding. We had a couple is issues that they resolved elegantly and promptly.
Very good recognition of our AMEX FHR benefits, as well.
Fitness center was world class!
Exceeded our expectations. We look forward to returning.
Fyi, 20% service fee is automatically added for bars and restarants. But the waiters were very good.
Came here for a weekend. What a beautiful hotel. A weekend at the spa was amazing. Workers are very friendly. Highly recommend!!
If you like history this is a good place to stay. The staff were nice but most spoke Spanish which made communicating difficult. We played golf and thought the course was in bad shape for $200 a round. The room was clean.
We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Biltmore again, the ambiance, and its history, the beautiful surroundings, the impressive pool, and the comfortable rooms. It is just our taste.
Dinner at Fairways was also delicious, with excellent all-around service.
In our experience, the service at breakfast is always a bit hit-or-miss; there is some room for improvement.
Anyway, we had a fantastic stay.
