The cigar smoke ruined dining experience. My husband started bringing me here 4 years ago after our son passed away - for change of scenery - the outdoor dining with parrots and other beautiful birds was magical & my favorite part of trip ( from St Pete ) as is everything about this beautiful hotel. However, this year , no one was allowed to eat in the open patio -except one table of cigar smokers - both nights - & the best tables in the covered lanai ( with view of fountain , orchids and birds) were ruined as they were too close to the smoke. So F everyone else & let one table have entire fountain area to smoke.
Its history, decor, location, and services and staff were all great!
Liked it all.
Terrible experience. Went for conference. At check in, the front desk person spoke very broken english. Only thing he said clearly was "you're with a conference, you get no benefits" (I'm an iPrefer member). After giving me my keys for a 2nd floor room, he pointed to the elevators and said something like "stairs or elevator". We got on the elevator, and there was no second floor. We went up and down the elevator, back to the main lobby where a bellhop said it was in an adjacent wing, and I would have to take the service elevator or walk up the stairs (with luggage and bruised ribs). Spent the week up and down the service elevator, which was disgusting. Each time on bottom floor the gym attendant tried to sign me into the gym while getting on the elevator. On Friday, we planned to sit at the pool before our Friday afternoon flight, but they took away the chairs for "an event later in the day". Room was OK. Tight sink layout for two people. Restaurant was very good, which gave the second star.
I came here in February 2026 for my friends wedding that was at the Biltmore. Upon checking in, the staff looked miserable at the front desk. I booked through AMEX which stated check in could be at 12pm if available. My husband and I arrived at 1205. I asked the front desk if perhaps we could have a room available by 3pm as I had a wedding rehearsal dinner that night. The staff looked at me and said “today?” In a sarcastic tone. I explained that I would need to shower and get ready and they told me “you can use the showers at the gym”.
The pool staff was friendly and our server was nice. Our drinks and food at the pool was good.
I was the Maid of Honor in a wedding there. We were in a conference room to get ready. Several girls had continued to go out and ask staff for ice, our water refilled etc. they did not check on us and were not attentive.
We were told if we had items in the Marbella ballroom we could get them prior to midnight, or the next morning. The wedding went until midnight so I did not have a chance to get them. I went down to concierge the following morning and she told me “there’s someone in there, you can go down and look”. I walked into the ballroom and there was another bridal party getting ready. The ladies in there were also shocked that I had been sent to find items on my own. I came back to concierge and gave her my phone number incase my items turned up. She called me to get my items. I had asked if someone could bring up my small items to my room and she said nobody was able to.
Valet staff was friendly and respectful. Did not have good experiences dining at cascades or Fontana for breakfast. Absolutely not worth it. This was my first time at a biltmore and I do not think I want to stay at one again!
Mooi gebouw en goede locatie
Ontbijt erg duur en we moesten vroeg weg maar hadden wel 35 dollar pp betaald voor ontbijt. Geen alternatief of refund en vreselijk onbeleefd hierin geholpen.
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Biltmore Hotel in Miami-Coral Gables, Florida, from January 22, 2026, through January 26, 2026. We attended a legal conference at the hotel. All of our breakfasts, lunches, and dinners at the hotel were superb, and all of the staff associates are top-flight. We enjoyed the large pool, and we also enjoyed walking on the grounds of the hotel. We highly recommend this historic hotel.
This was my fifth time staying at the Biltmore. I love the property and especially enjoy swimming in the pool when the weather is warm enough to do so. It is an elegant and historical building and the staff are very friendly.
On this particular visit, I found it a bit annoying that many of the rates and prices for things had changed. For instance, you have to pay for parking now in the parking lot and must use an app to do so. I had the app so it wasn’t a problem, but it just strikes me as if you’re paying nearly $500 a night, and there’s an open air parking lot with plenty of spaces, they should not have to charge you additional for this. There also seemed to be some changes to the building and in my room the television wand did not work so thankfully when I called a staff person to replace it they came quickly enough. Staff are friendly and helpful as always. Still a beautiful property, but I’ve been inundated lately with a large amount of emails marketing the various services of the property - too many emails!
environment, service; all was what I expected. Only disappointment was lack of music that i had experienced in the past; perhaps I may have missed it.
I enjoyed the fitness area, it was exceptionally equipped.
I always enjoy my stays at the hotel. I couldn't find anything that seriously I didn't like.
The Biltmore is the best example of how to take a historic, beautiful hotel with extraordinary potential and totally ruin it through incompetence and bad taste.
Taste might be subjective but taking a historic landmark that was built with the high quality proper of how things were done at the turn of the 20th century and then refurbishing it with the cheapest possible materials and furniture, awful lighting, painting it with pastel colors that not even Disney would dare to use, cheap floors,.... The whole place gives a sense of a bygone era that has not evolved well.
The restaurants are soul less and cheap looking, the food correct but not worth returning to.
We booked a junior suite. Both windows were so dirty that you could not see through properly. I have never seen such dirty windows in a hotel room. There was a large piece of furniture for the minibar but the shelves (where usually one finds minibar amenities to buy) were empty as was the minibar itself, disconnected and empty.
Staff were correct but not very friendly. Given the state of the hotel, I'm not surprised as it must be difficult to recruit staff to work in a place that wreaks of decadence.
I normally wouldn't bother writing this review but I find it irritating that such an iconic landmark that could be one of Florida's best hotels has become so mediocre in absolutely every aspect.
Fortunately we had only planned to stay one night. If I had booked for more nights, we would have moved out after the first night.
Unfortunately I’m writing to you live from a vibrating hotel room at almost 11 PM on a Saturday night. Music has been shaking our room since 5 and when I complained I was just told that there are two weddings occurring tonight and this noise level will be the case until midnight. This seems like a great place to stay but unfortunately I would not risk it if you’re hoping to get a full night sleep on a weekend. My friend and I can handle it but it would have been disastrous for anyone with children or older guests.
This beautiful historic building is an experience not to be missed! The staff are wonderful! Excellent accommodation, spacious, clean rooms. Amazing pool.
Eines der besten Hotels der USA. Allein der riesige Pool ist einen Aufenthalt wert.
nichts
It’s unique.
It’s expensive, but worth it.
