This was unfortunately not a five-star experience.

Our bathroom flooded, and although we were told it was fixed, it flooded again the next day. We were also woken up at 7:30am by cleaning staff for no reason, and later disturbed again despite having a “Do Not Disturb” sign on and being on business calls.

The terrace was not properly cleaned and had no cushions, so it was unusable.

While the staff tried to resolve the issues, there were repeated mishaps throughout the stay. As compensation, they offered to waive parking, but even then attempted to charge part of it.

Overall, disappointing and not up to five-star standards.

Terrible stay, unprofessional staff.
Pros:

The hotel location is great on the ring-road and close to many shops.

Cons:

While I understand it was a period of transition (apparently hotel operator had changed to Eurostars just few days before we stayed there) , this was by no means an excuse for the below-average quality and lack of professionalism and courtesy of the staff. We were meant to wait a very long time to check in, without any explanation and then the check-in staff were pressurizing me to sign-off on a paper for check-in even thought it was someone else's name. They then 'tried' to apologize by giving us some useless chocolate from Eurostars that they dumped on the table inside the room. After 1st night sleep and going to city, we returned shocked with rotten fish smell inside the room, and only after escalating to the manager did we finally get given a new room.

I found for the price we paid, we were given a very bad experience and this was by far the worst 'luxury' hotel experience I have come across. I hope they manage to fix their issues.

Pros:

Pros: location, 2 restaurants, good breakfast, breakfast until 11:30. Cons: at 11:20, the breakfast staff rolled up a cart without warning and started clearing the buffet. They didn't remove the plates from your table and carelessly dropped an omelette on it while taking food from the buffet at 11:20. This continued for two days. They were shouting loudly as they were clearing the table and it was passive aggression to make us leave without finishing our meal. At exactly 11:35 our table and another table were completely cleared, we were not allowed to take the fruit and the staff was extremely rude. P.S. The guy at the reception sent us to an Italian restaurant which was very bad. Do not send tourists there.

Delightful stay in a beautiful hotel in the heart of Vienna, just next to the Opera.
Pros:

This is a beautiful hotel, in particular the larger rooms facing the Ringstrasse. No issues with noise as the double glazing is very effective. The gym is fairly small, but the sauna and steam room are excellent and very luxurious. The breakfast is extensive and delicious. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend, although it isn't cheap so needs to either be a treat (or on expenses!)

Нет вечернего приготовления номера. Шторы никто не закрывает . Персонал на ресепшен , за исключением Ольги был не дружелюбен и не расторопен . Посоветовали для ужина очень плохой итальянский ресторан . Завтрак заканчивается в 11:30 . Но в 11:25 без предварительного предупреждения начинают убирать буфет . Мы сидели возле буфета и три сотрудника прикатили тележку и начали демонстративно шумно кидать продукты . Менеджер отеля посмотрите камеры это было 02 апреля 2026 года в 11:25 -11:35 . Мы ели как на вокзале . Это было унижение для гостей от плохого персонала .

На завтраке не свежий хлеб . На завтраке не приветливый персонал , начинают уборку буфета в 11:20 без предупреждения . Сильно гремят всячески показывая , что гостю нужно уходить . В день отъезда мы пришли в 11:10 и в 11:20 прикатили тележки и начался ужасный шум . Персонал в непосредственной близости к нам , не смущаясь кидал еду на тележку, создавая ужасный шум . В 11:35 было все убрано . Это было ужасно .

We felt at home in the hotel. Wonderful service and very close to sights and public transportation.
Pros:

Old European style with impressive lobby and excellent location to many sights. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. Delicious full breakfast every morning.
