We felt at home in the hotel. Wonderful service and very close to sights and public transportation.
Pros:

Old European style with impressive lobby and excellent location to many sights. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. Delicious full breakfast every morning.

We had a great experience at this hotel. Everything was excellent – the staff was very friendly and professional, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall service was outstanding. Truly a 10/10 experience. Highly recommended

Cons:

Мы поселились в номере где должна быть спальня и отдельная гостиная по описанию. Это не было так, не соответствовало. И когда утром в 4-20 начались строительные работы, мы были в шоке, нигде этого не сообщали. Как можно жить в таких условиях? Имейте в виду это, что жить возле стройки невозможно, и администрация отеля ничего не делает.

Hotel já é necessario restaurar.

Ar condicionado não regulável sempre a 25 graus, tv não funcionava .

Mudaram nos de quarto, mas continuou td na mesma.
O hotel é muito bem localizado e muito elegante.
Espero que os novos proprietários Eurostar mantenham o charme do hotel mas o renovem com comodidades dos tempos modernos.

Not so great
Pros:

Second visit, this one not as good as last. Lots of changes. Breakfast good but reception and housekeeping a bit hit and miss and the stunning 1870 restaurant now used for half board rather than top luxury. Seems to have slipped from 5* to 4 at best, just since we visited last year. The feeling of luxury has gone, more like “cram ‘em in” shame but plenty of other great hotels in area.
