Original review a la:- Convenient location for visiting our friends with parking. Breakfast has gone downhill: fruit 'juices' are not real juice, just from weak concentrate (clear water comes out first so you can see its a dilution): why is bacon chopped up into minuscule pieces? Is this Scandic policy or just a local decision - I've not been to the polar regions but I've never seen this done anywhere else in the fifty plus countries visited on the other continents! The receptionist didn't know why it was done as it wasn't a known customer request: Saturday morning the scrambled egg ran out, no knives initially, milk ran out (near the coffee machine) the (poor) bacon was almost out and the bits there were deep in fat - staff shortages? Poor planning? Poor organisation?: I had to clear the 'vacant' table after the previous users, get a serviette and a glass of water to clean the table, basically a shambles.: Sunday, after breakfast, the restaurant/bar is closed all day, you can't go out for a drink as you can't drink and drive - there is a vending machine but that is not an excuse for a bar. I doubt anyone from Scandic V will read this or reply but, we usually travel to Aarhus annually, use Scandic V for many years, it is convenient for our friends but we will probably look elsewhere next visit. We also know a Dane who has used the hotel for years and he now goes elsewhere so it's not only us! This preceding is on our customer survey too with other issues ..... On checking-out, these issues were raised but the guy on reception told me the customer is not always right - never mind, I don't have to be a customer, that's my option.

We completely understand your frustration and are sorry that the breakfast experience was disappointing. The chopped bacon is unfortunately part of the breakfast concept across Scandic hotels in Denmark, and we were also unfortunately understaffed on Saturday morning, which affected replenishment and table clearing. While this is not an excuse, it does explain some of the issues you experienced.

The staff at the reception is very helpful
The place is clean and the breakfast is good with many choices
the parking lot is big that even when we came back late, we were able to find a spot

Dobře dostupná lokalita autem i veřejnou dopravou. Snídaně moc dobrá až na velmi slabou kávu a nechutné čaje. Pohodlné postele. Ochotný personál a rychlé vyřízení check-in apod. Pohodlné oplocené parkoviště zdarma.

Personal var søde, nogle imødekommende.

Tæt på motorvej

Vi hadde familierom på 4 stk og det var god plass. Rent og fint og gode senger. God frokost i flott frokostsal.
