Spotless room! As someone who travels a lot, that’s the key to feeling comfortable and housekeeping here is on their game. There’s also complimentary water bottles in the room. Again, it’s always hard to stay hydrated while traveling so it was a nice touch. The decor and architecture was neat and the room had really nice items, like marble flooring in the bathroom. Front staff and bellhop quick & efficient and friendly. Will be staying here again.
The staff was amazing and the location was second to none. If you need anything ask for Enrique he'll help you with whatever you need.

Nice staff, very close to Millenium Park and the Art Institute, could use some touch up paint.
Very noisy! Slamming doors, street noise, construction in the room next door. Also the windows didn't seal completely so the food smells from the kitchen would waft into the room, which I did not enjoy...
The location was perfect for many of the downtown activities and proximity to train.

We had a lovely stay! Beverly and Susan and Victor and all were most accommodating and good natured…made us feel welcomed and were sincerely interested in caring for any and all needs. Hotel is centrally positioned to make visiting sites convenient. We love Chicago now!
Absolutely perfect location directly adjacent to the “EL” for downtown shopping and museum visits. 10-12 minutes to the miracle mile and close to parks, etc. the staff are welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable and well appointed with plenty of plugs AND a nice shower with great water pressure and heat! We look forward to visiting the Silversmith again!

Very friendly staff. I mean all personnel. Day and night. The room was clean and cold which is great. I could hear the train, but I no way did it bother me. It’s muffled in the perfect way.

Another impeccable Silversmith experience. Great hospitality was shown by, but not limited to Enrique, Antonio, and of course the lovely Renee. We look forward to our week at the silversmith every year and this one did not disappoint. Great accommodations, awesome hospitality!
The room had everything necessary. The bed was comfortable. The window faced the inner courtyard. That was actually better, as an outside window might have faced the metro line—which is typical for downtown Chicago. The hotel's location is superb.
