Stayed for 6 nights late May/early June. Absolutely Perfect location. 5 mins to Bean & Millenium park & Riverwalk, 10 minutes to Lake Michigan and Magnificent Mile, Loop trains right outside front door. Hotel was very clean and beds were super comfortable. Free Lavazza coffee in the morning plus we got a voucher for one free drink per day. Bar was nice. We did order a pizza one evening which was great. Staff were very efficient and friendly. Housekeeping did a great job keeping our room and towels always fresh. Special shoutout to Beverly in reception who always gave us a warm greeting and provided some great sightseeing tips and to Enrique for help with our bags. A few close by eateries - Goddess and the Baker right across the street was great for breakfast and The Gage one block over was excellent for dinner. Also Cindy’s rooftop (beside the Gage) had excellent views of the park & lake. Would definitely recommend this hotel
Posizione. Arredamento.
La palestra un po’ piccola e pochi attrezzi
Location to the theatres and city bus stops
Hard to find when first arriving and the distance to parking
We have stayed at Silversmith several times a year for the past few years whenever we stay in Chicago. The location is great for easy access to trains, Millennium Park, great restaurants and shopping. The hotel is always clean, quiet and comfortable. A special shout out to Beverly, the hotel clerk who always greets us warmly and remembers us by name from previous visits. She goes the extra mile to make sure we have a pleasant visit. We look forward to seeing her on our next trip to our home away from home.
What a great little hotel. Located to all the happening spots in downtown Chicago. This is been our second time in the city and stayed at this boutique hotel. The staff Beverly and Enrique are amazing! They gave us some pointers on where to go. Will be back again!
The bed was comfortable and location good
The decor was very dated. The sofa in the room was very uncomfortable. There werent many amenities.
We chose this hotel because it had a sofa bed and we wanted to share the room with friends (there were four of us). Resale sites advertise this room for four adults, which is impossible. The beds are small, and the sofa is in terrible condition (even sitting on it was uncomfortable). When we asked to change rooms, we were told they were all like that. It was very difficult for four people to sleep in small beds without being able to use the sofa because we could feel the mattress springs. The hotel is extremely well located, the staff is friendly, and the rooms are spacious. We were offered a blanket to improve comfort, but it was far too thin.
Great Location, close to Millennium Park with Fantastic Staff who go out of their way to make sure you are a satisfied customer. Classy atmosphere and rooms are elegant and clean. Complementary drink vouchers for the bar. Excellent value for the service, quality and location.
Enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff, clean hotel. Convenient walking distance to sites. Highly recommend!
I had an amazing birthday stay at the Silversmith Hotel, and a huge part of that was thanks to Kristopher and Beverly. From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and celebrated. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail truly made the experience special.
Kristopher was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always making sure everything was perfect and offering great recommendations. Beverly brought such warmth and positive energy that every interaction felt personal and genuine. Together, they created an atmosphere that turned a simple hotel stay into a memorable birthday experience.
The hotel itself was beautiful, comfortable, and in a great location, but it was the outstanding hospitality from Kristopher and Beverly that really stood out. I’m so grateful for the care they showed and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend this hotel if you want exceptional service and a team that truly makes guests feel valued!!
We only stayed one night but wish it had been longer! We got in to Chicago pretty early and they were very accommodating in holding our bags until a room became available so we could go explore the city. Big shout out to Beverly at the front desk! She was SO kind and helpful in getting us into a very nice room a little early so we could get some much needed rest from our travels. She made our stay such a delight! The bed was VERY comfortable and the room was clean and cozy! Couldn’t have asked for better!
The staff was very nice and accommodating for my dad and I. Beverly really helped me out when I needed a 2-bedroom last minute. Location is very convenient, and I overall recommend this hotel.
