The convenient location and they accepted dogs
The breakfast price was outrageous for what they were offering. There was a smell of water damage in the hallways. The carpet trim was falling off. One of the entrance doors didn't lock. The yard and the outdoor pool were eye sores.
Our room that we booked was not available. This place is a horrible place with false advertising. They should not be on bookings since they do t have the rooms they advertise!!!
The place is falling apart. very poor cleanlisness!
Dear General Manager,
I am writing to formally complain about the unacceptable condition of the room we were provided during our stay at the Allure Hotel on August 8, 2026. We booked the room directly through the hotel and paid almost $500 for one night.
The condition of the room was completely unacceptable for a hotel charging this amount. Among the problems we encountered were:
There was a visible blood stain on the comforter.
The bathtub was extremely dirty, with what appeared to be black dirt or residue throughout it.
The patio windows were covered with visible marks and were clearly not properly cleaned.
The rug/carpet was wet from the front of the room to the back.
These conditions were not minor housekeeping issues. They raised serious concerns about the cleanliness and preparation of the room and were certainly not what we reasonably expected when paying nearly $500 for one night’s accommodation.
We reported these concerns at checkout and specifically requested to speak with the manager. We were told that the manager would call us the following day. That call never came.
I subsequently called the hotel again and was once again told that the manager would contact me the following day. Again, no one called.
I then called a third time and left a voicemail for the manager personally. Despite these repeated attempts to resolve the matter directly with the hotel, I have still received no response.
I find the condition of the room and the lack of any response from management extremely disappointing. We gave the hotel several opportunities to address this matter professionally, and those opportunities have been ignored.
Given the condition of the room, the amount we paid, and the hotel’s failure to respond to our repeated attempts to resolve the matter, I am requesting a full refund of the approximately $500 paid for our stay.
I have photographs documenting the condition of the room and can provide them upon request.
Easy to get to. It was very quiet.
A bit older style. Does look like it needs some upgrades.
Nothing
MOLD, UNCLEAN,
UNPROFESSIONAL!!!They put us in a room that’s not dog friendly then made us switch a day after we were unpacked and settled into a dog friendly room during boots and hearts! The room had mold all throughout it, unclean, blood stains on curtain. The hot tub wasn’t working and wasn’t posted to their website, their food was the generic hotel food that’s usually free but it was 20$/person and tasted a day old! Overall, wouldn’t recommend at all!
Location and staff
Stained bedsheets, sliding door locks and handle were broken and double latch to hall was not stable. No fan in bathroom. Mouldy smell and must have been since my daughter and I are allergic to it and had a very stuffy noses after hour of being in the room. Daughters throat swelled and had to take Benadryl. Other guess was fine cause she’s not allergic.
It is not very clean in the hall ways
Outside garage all over
Mud in the hall ways
Not well look after at all
Not really any but maybe the face I had a patio door for fire exit
Pretty much the entire stay
N NOTHING NOT HAPPY WITH THE CONDITIONS AT ALL OR YOUR STAFF OR YOUR ROOMS YOU NEED TO DO A REHAUL AT ALL
Everything
the bed
they was bugs in the second room they give us
Pillows on bed
I am not one to write bad reviews but this has to be said. What a disappointment. My room and the facilities were absolutely filthy. Stained towels, moldy bathroom. I paid for breakfast package and was charged. Upon arrival, I was told the restaurant was closed so no breakfast. I asked if they at least had a coffee station. Nope. I never got money back for that. Staff said they tried getting a hold of the manager but couldn't reach them. Should there not be a manager there at least during the day? There was a crying dog across the hall which kept us up all night. Several people complained and expressed concern that maybe the person was hurt. They did nothing. We will never be staying there again.
Maintenance around the property is important! I actually asked to see the room before I paid because the exterior was so bad. The room was OK but it just leaves a bad feeling in my head. If they are not taking care of the outside of the hotel….. chances are they are not spending extra on the inside.
All 3 ice machines were not working!!! To be fair one of the staff brought me a bag of ice when I found her! Thanks for that!
Quality service
Outdoor grounds need work
It was close to the wedding we were attending and it was pet friendly.
Run down, wallpaper peeling of the walls carpet lifting in the hallway. Electrical cord in the room was taped to the floor with pieces of red tape. Electrical outlets missing covers. Room not clean. The "Outdoor" courtyard that was off the pet friendly rooms was overgrown with weeds, you literally could not see where you were stepping. No garbage cans outside to dispose of pet waste. Abandoned outdoor pool, crumbling and falling apart empty except for a broken black plastic chair. A real eyesore. I would never stay here again.
The fact that it is situated close to the exits for Highway 400. There is a Tim Horton's nearby where you can grab a coffee before continuing on with the rest of your journey.
The shower head and the washroom fixtures. It lacked water pressure and looked rather dull and dingy. No complimentary breakfast.
