It's a budget hotel made pleasant by a delightful staff.
Pros:

The staff cannot be faulted, being are very attentive, helpful and friendly. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bar is very welcoming but no food.

Cons:

The rooms smell of cheap cleaning products which does clear when the room is aired. Only food available in the bar are chips, which is a shame as it's an extremely welcoming and friendly place to be.

Two things that stood out - The breakfast team is fantastic. It was the same gentleman there every day and he was friendly, helpful, and just top notch in every way. So were the women working there. (I met two of them, both fantastic). This team truly goes above and beyond and it's a great way to start the day. Thank you!

Also - I lost an expensive pair of sunglasses in the lobby, and when I was checking out I asked about them and to my surprise the front desk staff had found and saved them for me. They could easily have kept them as they are expensive. I appreciate the great service and honestly. I will definitely stay there again next time I'm in Scottsdale. Thank you.
