Amazing location. Clean and comfortable room.
Room 1617 | July 22–25
We had a great stay here, especially because of the amazing location. The hotel is right in the heart of Chicago, making it incredibly convenient to walk to restaurants, attractions, and everything else the city has to offer. We also had great views of the Chicago River from our room.
The room itself was comfortable and had everything we needed. The continental breakfast was a great perk and offered a nice selection to start the day.
Our room was close to the elevator lobby, so we could hear the elevators from inside the room. Because the hotel is in the center of everything, there was also some city noise, including traffic and occasional sirens. It didn't ruin our stay, but it's something to keep in mind if you're a light sleeper. A room farther from the elevators may be quieter.
Parking at the hotel seemed expensive when I researched it, so we chose to park our rental car at a nearby garage that offered overnight parking and in-and-out privileges, which worked out well. Honestly, I typically don't have a rental car when visiting Chicago because the city is so easy to explore by walking or using public transportation.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
Location, nice room. Clean. Had a restaurant connect and a bar down stairs.
The price was a little high.
The location
Room wasn’t that clean especially around the toilet & lights were very dusty. Carpet was grungy too. No trash bags & trash cans were not obvious. For the money… 500$… should have been SHINING ✨
The location was excellent. The rooms were clean and the elevators were fast.
You are forced to pay a $25 “destination fee” per room per day; you then get a $15 credit at the bar or room service which are only available after 4:00 pm. So since we were going out we were not able to use the credit. It’s a big rip off. If they want to have another $25, just add it to the room cost.
Breakfast was fine for the price and convenient

Comfortable room, excellent location.
Location
I chose this hotel based on location to a work event. Checking in was easy and the hotel is in a prime location. Upgraded waterview room was nice and spacious. Would choose again
I wanted to take a moment to recognize the excellent service provided during my stay. The level of professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality truly made a difference in my experience. Every interaction was handled with kindness, efficiency, and care, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere from beginning to end.
It’s clear that the team takes great pride in delivering outstanding service, and that effort does not go unnoticed. Thank you for making my stay so pleasant — I would gladly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future.
Heidi the Manager is an incredible person ❤️
There was nothing to complain about our staying.
Tudo!!!! Paguei super caro, pra ser um dos melhores quartos e foi um dos piores. Me deram o quarto que restou. pedi com 2 camas (paguei por isso) e no fim nao tinham mais. Entao me deram uma cama de hospital.
I needed to be in town for a couple of days of meetings and I usually stay at the Marriott Magnificent Mile, but chose this hotel this time due to price. I will say I actually enjoyed this hotel slightly more than the Marriott which is nearby. Checking in was easy, quick, and very friendly. There is so much that is within walking distance from here. My room had a beautiful river view. The room looked decent, even though it didn’t have all the modern USB charging and streaming TV features that so many properties have these days. I really hate when they don’t have Pluto TV on the TV in the rooms, especially since it’s free.
The other gripe was that they didn’t come refresh the room the next morning after my first night, but fortunately I had enough towels to last me the next day. They did refresh it on my second day though. They have a nice lounge on the main level which offers a full breakfast, as well as water and soda all the time.
I might stay here the next time I’m in town.
