Enorm teleurgesteld, en flink geschrokken.
Pros:

Een ander hotel.

Cons:

We hebben netjes gereserveerd via booking.com, prima communicatie vanuit Leonardo.

Echter, de problemen begonnen bij het online inchecken een dag van tevoren. Dat lukte niet, alsof de reservering niet bestond.

Daarna veelvuldig gebeld zonder gehoor, en gemaild zonder reply. Tot op de dag van vertrek hoorden we niks dus durfden niet zomaar de trein naar Amsterdam / Leonardo te pakken met 2 kleine kinderen van 4 en 6.

Via een omweg, kreeg ik telefonisch een ander Leonardo hotel te pakken. Zij wisten te achterhalen dat onze booking was geannuleerd en omgezet naar een ander hotel. Terwijl wij van niks wisten.

We waren niet niet gebeld, geen email, helemaal niks. Uiteindelijk kregen we het andere hotel te pakken. Daar was onze booking wel in het systeem. Zij hebben ons gerustgesteld en gezorgd dat we toch een fijn weekend hadden. Maar desondanks hadden we een valse start waardoor we heel bezorgd en onzeker aan ons weekend begonnen.

Ondanks een goede afloop vinden we het ronduit schandalig dat een hotel ons simpelweg cancelt, omzet, niks laat weten, niet reageert op telefoontjes, niet reageert op mails.

Great stay would definitely recommend.
Pros:

Beautiful hotel in excellent area with the loveliest of staff. Very comfortable clean rooms and lovely reception, bar area.

Cons:

Couple minor things - hooks in bathroom very high and none for towels. Mirror at the desk would have been good.

Lovely hotel
Pros:

We stayed here in January for a few days which turned into more due to the snow. Special mention to Justina in the restaurant, who made a lovely breakfast every morning, even did a takeaway box, as the flight was at 7am, so leaving before breakfast, then we got the flight cancelled so had our lovely breakfast before moving onto the next hotel.
The hotel is. Very very clean, there are works going on for improvements, I was put in a ground floor room, bu the disabled toilet due to my mobility.
Definitely going to return to this lovely luxury hotel, which is in a great location, to be able to walk to Dam Square.
Thank you all for making our 3 days perfect

Very pleasant, the staff were lovely and the room and facilities were clean.
Pros:

I got upgraded to a superior king room which was gorgeous, so spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

There was a stagnant water smell at the back of the bar. We usually sat near the front door. We also wished the bar stayed open longer!

Perfect…. In every way
Pros:

Can quite honestly say was one of the nicest experiences we have had when visiting Amsterdam. Would highly recommend. We are regular visitors to Amsterdam and found the location perfect just a little bit out from the main square in Amsterdam (which is ideal for someone looking for a more authentic feel when visiting and the main central part is overhyped and extremely busy )

Pros:

The location was very peaceful and not far from the centre, the hotel was lovely and clean

Cons:

The ‘king bed’ was two single put together which made it quite uncomfortable as they kept sliding apart and were very soft
