The hotel was clean.

Cons:

There was no electric, candles were the only light aside from stick on lights and only in the lobby. The hallways were very dark and felt unsafe for myself and my child. The doors were left open a majority of the time which made it very cold. The stairways were the only way up and I believe there were 7 floors but the only light was a stick on light in part of the stairwell. The staff did not help with refunds or try to help accommodate elsewhere. I originally planned to leave it would be forced to pay for my stay plus another regardless. Parking was $19 a day and was open free to the public when the electric was out so parking was difficult during this time when there was a cheer competition and volleyball tournament at the convention center.

Absolutely miserable. Would love a refund considering we didn’t even get to be at the hotel.

Conveniently close to convention center

Cons:

No power, no breakfast, no heat, no elevator had to drag luggage up several sets of stairs with kids. Fighting and inappropriate language used by angry customers in front of my kids(staff didn’t really try to even de-escalate the situation), had to spend all my time somewhere else due to no power. Staff wouldn’t communicate or help find other accommodations. Paid a lot for a hotel we were unable to be in almost our whole stay due to power outage.

Pros:

The room was Ok. Broken plumbing however.

Cons:

Reception. I had reserved and prepaid and it took 45 minutes to check in. Parking was full and had to pay for public parking twice as expensive as RedRoof parking. Both parking lots required you to leave the property and make a U turn to enter the lots.

The location was great for my needs.

The room had a funny smell and there was a dog barking loudly on our floor during our stay. Plus, they don't offer breakfast or anything.
