I arrived by taxi from the airport to the hotel. Before I could even open the door to get out, the hotel security guard came running and, without even saying hello, started rudely telling the taxi driver to hurry up because we were in the way. It was completely rude, unprofessional and unwelcome, because the taxi driver had stopped in an allowed spot to drop us off. I was with my 73-year-old mother, and we had 4 suitcases and 3 bags. The security guard looked indifferently at the 4 suitcases in the open trunk and didn't even call the porter or offer any help, but simply turned around and left. I was barely dragging 3 suitcases alone along the cobblestones, and the concierge, a young man, stood outside at arm's length. He also didn't call the porter or offer any help with luggage , but also simply turned around and left without even saying hello. When I was dragging 3 suitcases into the hotel alone, and my 73-year-old mother a suitcase and two bags, the concierge and duty manager were standing at the entrance; they just watched us as we struggled to drag our suitcases along the cobblestones , smiled and laughed. The result: three different employees—a security guard, a concierge and a duty manager—all were outside within arm's reach. Not a single one said hello, not a single one called the porter, not a single one offered to help me and my 73-year-old mother with 4 suitcases and 3 bags. What shocked me most was the security guard's behavior, he started pestering the taxi driver for being in the way, even though we'd just stopped at the allowed place and we didn't even have time to open the door and get out of the car, but security already came to argue with a driver who was just doing his job. I've stayed at this hotel several times, and I was confused many times by the behaviour of this security. I always see him at the lounge club, where he comes several times during his shift to grab coffee. Every time it looks like the guests are bothering him in the coffee line. And now he's gone even further and is already showing conflict behavior toward the taxi driver , instead of greetings guests , offer help or call a porter. Such behavior is offensive, rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, and not in line with Marriott Bonvoy's values. I believe no one guest should be treated like this in the hospitality industry. And for me with my Titanium Elite status this experience was like nightmare.

Sehr schneller Zimmerservice - Abendessen frisch und schnell auf Bestellung gekocht und aufs Zimmer gebracht.
Lage optimal, zentral. Alles von hier zu Fuss erreichbar.
Danke Marriotts Prague!
A very nice Hotel with a friendly staff and very nice rooms. The breakfast restaurant is excellent and goes along with the room. The Hotel is centrally located in the heart of new town and old town. Plan on getting some exercise walking. If rain is in the forecast grab an umbrella. There are a lot of Starbucks in Prague and if you get caught in the rain they would be a go to place.
When Avalon books you into a hotel then you know it’s going to be good because they’re in the business and know exactly what they’re customers expect. So it was here with a lovely hotel, good room and excellent service. Not perfect I think some of the aspects could do with a little extra training but when our family had a problem with their room the response was immediate and genuine and you can’t ask for more than that. And if it’s “location location” you’re after then look no more it couldn’t be better.
Clean & comfortable stay. Friendly stuff. Highly recommended.
I was assigned a room that was already occupied when I checked in. A bad experience for me and a breach of privacy and security for the guest in the room. I get concerned when a hotel gives random people access to a room that is occupied.
The room I was finally given had shower in the bathtub. Uncomfortable and risky to climb into a bathtub to take a shower.
M Club lounge is excellent. Hotel location is good for discovering Prague.
