If the registered guest(s) fail to follow this policy, the registered guest(s) may be asked to leave the hotel without a refund. Non-registered guests are not permitted between 10pm and 6am. Competitive price, but serious housekeeping lapses
Pros:

The Warwick Allerton is an older Chicago property with a certain historic feel, and I expected some dated elements. On the positive side, the front desk staff were genuinely friendly, the bed was comfortable with plenty of blankets, the room was quiet, and hot water was immediately available in both the sink and shower.

Where things fell apart was housekeeping. The room clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned: crumbs were still on the carpet, there was an open prophylactic wrapper next to the trash can, and a woman’s stocking was behind a chair. The in-room coffee service also hadn’t been re-stocked. These are not minor oversights and left a poor first impression.

I had also arranged early check-in in advance, but it wasn’t available when I arrived. In addition, the elevators are extremely old with very narrow entry openings, which can feel cramped.

The hotel’s pricing is competitive for the Magnificent Mile area, but with so many lodging choic-es nearby, the issues above make it difficult to recommend.

Disappointed after so many years of staying with Allerton.
Pros:

The location.

Cons:

We had purchases near the trash can and it was clearly not trash. House Keeping tosh out over 50$ of items and showed no responsibility and offered no apologies.
