Hotel was amazing, Marie from Hilton grand vacations was a gem to have around and guide us.
Incredible stat here for a once in a lifetime experience
Nothing all perfect
Another fantastic stay at the US's longest continuously operated hotel. A hotel of the gilded age that still shines after over 125 years.
Great place, great staff. Thank you again to everyone who makes it a great place to stay.
I technically didn’t stay in a room here.
After our Opera show we walked and ate in the court room, beautiful atmosphere, food was five stars and then ordered the original brownie for dessert. I don’t drink, but also a great place if just going to grab drinks. On all the travel websites, this place only came up once. It is way under rated. To me a must see and eat (must try the original brownie) spot for your vacay in Chicago. Close enough walk to Michigan Ave., Millennial Park, Opera house, train station, etc.
The mattress was in terrible condition and completely worn out, as if it had been heavily used for years. The severe tilt made it extremely uncomfortable and had me nearly rolling off the bed during the night.
The $25 resort fee felt like an unnecessary add-on rather than delivering real value. Despite being a Hilton member, the membership benefits appeared to carry little weight at this historic property. It seems the hotel is relying primarily on its name and legacy while neglecting needed maintenance and updates.
I will be avoiding this property in the future and left very disappointed with the experience.
Our room was very outdated. Note the mini refrigerator on the floor and the rips in the wallpaper. Very sad state for a stately hotel.
The Palmer House is a fantastic hotel!
Beautiful building!
Comfortable rooms!
Edgar at the Front Desk was very helpful and welcoming!
I appreciate the experience!
Thanks!!!
I would like to share what a wonderful experience we had on the tour of the Palmer House.
This was a highlight for our visit to Chicago. Not only was the tour informative and interresting, but the passion Dinelia Smiles has for the Palmer House and its history was always present and infectious. We spent a wonderful day at the Palmer House, met a lovely couple during the tour and greatly enjoyed the Palmer House old fashioned cocktail (so much so, that we returned today)
Thank you for a wonderful time, and your generosity, Dinelia. I can highly recommend this tour for future guests and visitors of Chicago.
EMILY AND SAMUEL HGV help me so much with my stay. That also help me to extend my stay for a little bit longer. Thank you so much for your excellent service.
Best value hotel in Chicago. This place should be $600 a night. Historic, beautiful and the staff is nothing less than impeccable.
I'll be back.
Aida with HGV and Adil, Eric. We’re very informative with the location, and the city. They also were able to give me an amazing package deal for future travel. They are amazing and fun individuals, and went above and beyond to treat me well and had a wonderful conversation.
Aida with hiltion grand vacation was very friendly and informative about your program.
