El personal del hotel se encontraba en huelga, nunca limpiaron las habitaciones, el servicio muy limitado, el costo por las fechas fue el triple de lo habitual y se limitaron a una disculpa, sin ninguna compensación para los huéspedes

There was a hotel strike the exact days we were there unfortunately so there was really no service. Garbage was piling up in hallways, they put piles of towels out on each floor by the elevators. Etc. The staff was friendly and helpful enough when approached but for the price this was unacceptable. It should’ve cost half what we paid for the service we got.

There was a strike lasting all of my stay. There was noise all the time. My room was not clean during all my stay. When I raised a complaint the only solution given by the hotel was to write a google review.

Unfortunately we were there during a strike. There was no daily housekeeping. Trash was piling up by the elevators. We had to walk through the annoying picket lines every time you left the hotel

They were striking during our stay . We had no housekeeping , had get towels in the hallway , garbage piled up and entering and leaving the hotel you had to listen to loud pickers banging drums yelling bed bugs and other things . We had my granddaughter with us which scared her every time we left and came back to the hotel. The price didn’t reflect our inconveniences . The price was absorbent for this kind of inconveniences

Our worst hotel experience cost USD700 per night
- very noisy labour ptotest indicative of very poor hotel management. Issues had not resolved since August 2026
- the room was not cleaned or serviced during our 6 day stay
- worn out carpets and stained bathrooms
- terrible breakfast buffet, cold eggs and stale pancakes
- intermittent wifi disconnection
- no tea, coffee maker or complimentary snacks

Had toilet issues.
Protesters out front of the entrances. Making noise until late at night.
No room service because of short staff. Probably out protesting.
Charged for a pull-away bed that never arrived.

Very tired and not very clean. No room service and the room and the bathroom had not been cleaned properly and were berry disappointing

The union workers went on strike in which the hotel and them have been negotiating since August. This understandably led to no services to our room, restrictions on the restaurant and so on. It wasn’t what I paid for.

The bathroom was clean and well-appointed but tiny. It was hard to close the door from inside. I have no other complaints about the room or the accommodations.

Cleanliness , no room serves at all , dirty bins etc

It would have helped to have microwave in the room so that we can have warm tea or heat any food. Seemed like a critical missing amenity

Aside from what I described above, everything else was horrible.
- Our first night there, my wife and I had dinner at the restaurant on sight, initial impressions were that the restaurant was amazing. The person responsible for taking our order brought us our waters and drinks but then took forever to come back and actually take our food order.
- Secondly, the beds were awful. They were NOT COMFORTABLE at all! It was like they got some cheap mattress and just put it on a bed frame. Trying to sleep was difficult! Kept feeling like something was poking my back! My wife couldn’t get any sleep either! She kept on having to wake up at 3 AM!
- The management did not inform any of the guests that there was a strike planned with their hotel staff. My wife and I found out on our second day there. Initially this wasn’t an issue but there was no room service. Our bed sheets were not changed. We didn’t get new towels. The bathroom floors did not get cleaned. Also, my wife informed me that even the tub in our room flooded a little bit. It ended up becoming a filthy nightmare for us.
- Honestly this should not be a 4 star hotel. For the amount I paid, approximately $2800, it was not worth it. My wife and I love Chicago, but this hotel is awful! Just pay your staff a livable wage! The workers striking were right, hotel management did not care about the guests. They comped us some points.. heck they should refund me the amount I paid for the stay. My wife and I were here for the Chicago Marathon. Next time when we come, we will NOT be staying here!

Nous avons subit une grève qui a amené beaucoup de bruit. Nous avons pu regagner notre chambre seulement à 18h!!’ Et avons été réveillés à 6h du matin par le bruit. Au vu du prix de la chambre, le geste commercial a été bien ridicule pour un Hotel du groupe Hilton!!
