It has never disappointed in over 30 years!
Pros:

I have been staying here since my first trip to the US in 91 & I will not stay anywhere else. It's stunning as soon as you walk in the door. The neighbourhood is great, with plenty of shopping & places to eat & drink. I have always felt safe in the surrounding streets day or night. Once you stay here, you will compare all other Hotels to The Palmer House.

A step back in time
Pros:

I LOVED this hotel. I have never wanted to go back to a hotel soo soon. People the the reviews talk about how it’s outdated hotel. They don’t see the historical value in this hotel. Never change a thing! From the moment we stepped for in the hotel we were treated like royalty. Will definitely be coming back very very soon!0

The hotel lobby is beautiful!

Cons:

Mold lined shower curtain, mold in sink, hairs were everywhere when we arrived - on beds and all over bathroom. The rooms definitely need better cleaning and to be updated.

Great location. Absolutely beautiful hotel.
Pros:

Offered us a room with 2 beds and 2 bathrooms for small upgrade which was perfect as bathroom is small and beds are only full size.
