Great location, beautiful lobby, friendly staff
Heard loud whir of elevators constantly in our room, no coffee/tea in room
Beautiful property and a great location to walk around downtown Chicago.
The way the elevators are arranged is sometimes inconvenient because of long waiting periods of the hotel is busy
Connected rooms. Beautiful atmosphere and excellent restaurant staff.
The one issue that might make me pick a different hotel next time is a lack of even a simple coffee maker, fridge or microwave. I understand you want guests to spend in restaurants, but geez, not even coffee in room?
the lobby, conference, and ballroom spaces are impressive
The room was disappointingly dilapidated for the price, and the elevator wait from the 18th floor took nearly 20 minutes. Although the lobby, conference, and ballroom spaces are impressive, the guest rooms fall well below the same standard.
Great location. Walking distance to millennium park, Navy Pier, etc!
Room was very spacious and relaxing.
The room we stayed was facing to train station, and was noisy.
No complimentary coffee and tea in the room.
Great location and impressive foyer
Dated rooms, old towels, resort fee
Posizione, stile dell’albergo, ampie aree comuni, storia.
Bagno piccolo. Doccia ancora con le tendine…
Colazione al tavolo senza possibilità di self-service. Pochissima scelta per i dolci.
The lobby was beautiful and the location was great.
The front desk manager was rude, the bathroom was terribly out of date, the bed was uncomfortable. I wish I had stayed anywhere else with the exception of the location.
It was the only one available
No valet parking available you have to go upstairs and make many phone calls to get someone
Super busy the staff have no time for you. Confusing entrances.
Great location to access everything Chicago have to offer. Easy access to 3 streets, subway, as well walking distance to nearby parks and museum. The room was clean and well maintained. I recommend to add breakfast in booking the wait time was no more than 20 minutes and enjoyed the hot and fresh meal. My outbound flight was 6 p.m., so I added late check-out at 3 p.m. Normally don't get approved, but, I was lucky. Housekeeping believe guest check out at 11 a.m., so don't panic and let them know in advance. Don't forget to ask for free water bottes from the check-in desk.
The restroom was in excellent condition, except, there was a visible crack/scratch in the mirror. (See attached photo). It is mostly quite, except, you can hear next door using water in the restroom. I was out most of the day, so it is no big issue.
The architecture and history is excellent and well worth the visit. The food is great and the bar and lounge were active and fun. The staff was excellent and friendly.
