Paid for parking when the lot below was available for free
The hotel and the room where clean and functional—no unpleasant surprises.
The neighborhood isn't really amazing, but the hotel is right next to the Clinton metro station (Blue Line). There are also buses nearby.
The hotel parking lot is very small; it is not a "valet parking" service—as I had read in older reviews—but rather consists of spaces that must be reserved in advance (at the time of booking your room). All the spaces were already reserved upon our arrival, so we went to the parking lot located just below, which is independent of the hotel and can be booked via the SpotHero app (address: 519 S Clinton). It cost us $50 for two nights.
The staff is very nice.
The breakfast is classic, good, and generous (eggs, bacon, sausages, potatoes, sliced bread, croissants, pancakes, fruit, yogurt....). My kids were really happy that there was NOT a TV in the breakfast room. The atmosphere is calmer!
The bathroom is very small and poorly ventilated. The showerhead does not offer multiple spray settings, so you cannot get a stronger flow.
We had a suite with a kitchenette equipped with: fridge, microwave, sink, cupboards (there are no burners, plates or dishes).
Please note: you can hear the flow of traffic beneath the hotel windows 24 hours a day. It didn't keep us from sleeping, but bring earplugs if you prefer absolute silence.
In the entrance hall, you can purchase snacks, drinks, frozen meals to heat up in the microwave, and emergency supplies (cotton swabs, sanitary pads, etc.).
We enjoyed our stay; everything went very well!
El desayuno no estaba incluido y habia muy pocas opciones para desayunar en el hotel
Había un poco de ruido
Great welcoming staff. Convenient location. Rooms were comfortable and the hotel felt secure.
The property is very clean, and very quiet. The rooms were clean the hallways were clean it was just overall very clean and very quiet.
The smell when I opened the door to my room it smelled like it had been closed up for a long time. It wasn’t a nice calm hotel scent. Other than that everything was perfect! After a while I no longer smelled the smell.
I like the location to McCormick place!
We had a giant cockroach, in our an it was really gross
Check in was excellent. The agent at check was very helpful, friendly, courteous and professional.
Street and sidewalk construction. No fault of HI.
Nothing the lady at the front desk was very rude and had an attitude
Everything she didn’t allow us to check in or even allowed us to pay the rest of the money because of my ID being on my phone
It’s peaceful

The front desk staff was great! Carlis and Aina gave us excellent recommendations about the tain and local sights.
The sofa bed was difficult to open.
I felt safe here
People sleeping in the lobby
What compelled me to book this hotel was the fact that there was a subway station right next door. That made it very easy to get around the city. I appreciated the level of politeness at the front desk and the amenities found in the room.
The only main drawback is that the hotel is surrounded by very little in terms of convenience stores during off-peak hours. Walking to nearby restaurants or other retail takes considerable time if you don't have a car.
Centrally located
Front desk staff didnt communicate our late checkout, causing housekeeping to walk into the room TWICE without knocking. Doors/walls are thin. Whole facility is a bit dated and needs some TLC.
Location was good close to where I needed to go.
Not having to pay 65$ for parking. I personally think it's ridiculous.
