Clean but loud
Pros:

Average hotel. The room was clean (good). The location is a mile and a half from Disneyland (also good)

The breakfast was free, but meh

The water in the sink (we were on the 3rd floor) took several minutes to get hot and the water in the shower vacillated from hot to cold while we showered.

I had to call the front desk to chase off a group of young men who were standing in the parking lot below our window drinking, shouting and revving car engines for nearly an hour starting after 10 pm (on a Tuesday in February) The desk did send security out but it took several more minutes to get them to leave. The hotel charges $25 a night to park on site. We were told that the fee was assessed on cars in the lot at 10pm. But it appears that locals park their cars in the lot and hangout on the (North (back) side of hotel until made to leave. I saw groups standing around cars with open doors every night we were there. Tuesday was the only night they got really loud.

Great service- Above average accommodations- Decent distance from Disneyland
Pros:

Breakfast options were great! Two different waffle batter types (typical vanilla & they changed out chocolate flavors during our 6 day trip). Every guest service staff member was very nice and accommodating. We loved the stay. Bathroom shower/tub faucet worked for the most part- it didn’t fully switch to shower, but still worked.

Cons:

Would love to see a Dr Pepper option in the store to purchase. In the six days we had breakfast, we had bacon once. Would’ve enjoyed it at least once more.

Property is right next door to very popular ice cream shop so trying to find parking between the hours of 6pm to midnight is hard which makes no sense cause they charge you 25 per day but it’s get very packed parking fee is also a hidden charge not included in your price

Wonderful Hotel, Even Better Customer Service!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Bevz at the Hampton Inn Garden Grove South. From the moment we arrive, she always greets us with a smile… and somehow, she remembers us by name every single time. That personal touch means more than she probably realizes.

Bevz is the perfect balance of professional, joyful, and genuinely caring. The hotel itself is great, but it’s her exceptional service that truly takes the experience over the top. Because of Bevz, I honestly won’t stay anywhere else when visiting the area, and that says a lot.

Pros:

This is a great hotel. Bev at the front desk was extremely helpful when ever I needed information. She remembered my name and said hi to me by name everytime I walked by the front desk. The room was extremely clean. I felt very comfortable . It is close enough to the convention center that you could walk if you like. They have a nice breakfast that is included. I will stay here again next year.

Just wonderful.
Pros:

Safe, comfortable easy to get to. Parking was decent. Staff were absolutely phenomenal. Very courteous and extremely helpful. Very knowledgeable of the area as well. Would love to return in near future.

Cons:

Nothing bad to say other than parking was a bit tight at night but it’s expected with lots of guests that have vehicles.
