Distance to Disney. / shuffle service. Staff was friendly and breakfast area was clean and quick/ easy for early morning departure.
The noise level from the ice cream store guests in the parking lot was excessive and came right into the windows . And it went on for hours. My room had multiple problems - the shower had a disgusting yellow substance dripping from a handle. The air conditioner made a screaming noise after about 5 mins of running and never stopped. I had to turn it off to sleep. I attempted to just use the fan on the second night (after asking for it to be looked at and not getting an update or it fixed ) a rotten foot musky smell filled the room as soon as it turned on. We had a long hot day at the park and were really looking forward to a cool room to rest, but the smell kept me up for most the night. I was traveling with 2 adults with special needs. I had asked to be close to them for safety reasons. - I asked at the front desk as well at check in and was told no - without much effort to even put us on the same floor at least. I even offered to take any available room to be closer. The attendant didn’t make an effort to try which was disappointing (and a little scary for my friends - this was the first time they’ve travelled like this).

Paying for parking and not being able to because all the non visitors would use the parking lot while they went to that ice cream shop it was chaotic and frustrating I have a brain tumor so I can’t get overwhelmed it’s exhausting and causes seizures

We spent a wonderful two days at Hampton Inn and Suited Garden Grove. We are a family of 5 and having a suite with an actual door in between the rooms was wonderful. There were enough surfaces to put our bags and enough outlets and plugs to charge all of our devices. We liked that the bathroom and shower were separate from the sink so we could get ready more efficiently. Breakfast was your typical fare for a Hampton Inn and it had everything we needed for each day.
We had an issue with our air conditioning and Jose came to check it out at 11:00 PM. When we realized he’d need to replace the unit, they gave us a new room. To my surprise, Jose brought us the keys personally and a trolley to transport our belongings to the new room!
If you are planning on going to Disneyland or DCA, there are two options to get there. One was a shuttle that cost $7 for the day, leaving at the 15 and 45 of the hour. We were originally planning to do that but of course we missed the 15. We didn’t want to wait around, so we used Option B. We walked about 15 min down to the Toy Story lot. The walk was easy and felt very safe both in the morning and even at park’s end at night. I wasn’t worried at all about walking back. There were plenty of people out and going back to their own hotels.

We loved how much space the lobby had and we loved the outdoor seating space too. The staff was accommodating and gave us everything we needed and asked for. Our room was always cleaned timely every other day. We love that it is fairly close to the Toy Story parking lot so we were able to walk there and get the shuttle to Disneyland.
We always had to ask for towels at the pool. There would be a few when we got there, but then they would be gone. So maybe just stock more towels in the morning or check more frequently. But they always immediately brought them out when we asked!!

Overall, a wonderful experience. We got a suite which was very roomy and comfortable. The common areas were clean and inviting. Daily breakfast was well represented with a variety of offerings which change daily. Also, the breakfast area was always kept tidy and refreshed.
This hotel also has a nice pool area and is right in the middle of the action, walking distance to all kinds of restaurants and even Disneyland! One of the only downsides is that parking is an extra $20/day. Not terrible, but with what you pay for the rooms, you would think this would be included.
