Clean sheets and clean room

The property was clean and comfortable- we will stay there again, for sure.
There was one working elevator and it took so long for the cleaning staff to use it we had to use the stairs. We waiting several times over 10 min for the elevator- when we left we even carried our luggage down the stairs.
I called to cancel my stay on 2-11 and was told that I would pay for a night. I decided to keep my reservation. When asked for my confirmation number I was told that I did not have a reservation. There was a lot of communication between booking and the front desk while I was on hold awaiting confirmation on my reservation.
I called again on 2-13 to confirm my reservation and to let them know that I would not be checking in on 2-13 as originally planned but would be staying 2-14. Again, I was asked for my emailed confirmation number and was told that I did not have a reservation. I asked if there were rooms available for 2-14 and was told that he could not take my reservation over the phone and that it would have to be done online. However, I was charged for the hotel stay! I went to the hotel personally to find out what was happening. I spoke to Howie and when she asked for my confirmation number she could NOT find my reservation BUT I was charged a no show fee! How can I be charge a no show fee/hotel stay when I was told that my reservation was no where to be found! Such a bad deal!
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The front desk staff was very rude and unprofessional. The way I was treated made me feel unwelcome and possibly discriminated against. This is unacceptable for a brand like Hilton.
The room condition was also disappointing — the bedside lamp didn’t work, and there was a strong oily smell in the room that made it uncomfortable to stay in.
I would not recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made.
We had a ice storm so they are open
The free shuttle stopped running and we had to get an uber for 65 dollars
We also had breakfast included then the man told us it was 18 per person I showed him our reservation but he said he was still required to get signature
Everything was cleaning and comfortable
Breakfast was excellent.
The only negative was the coffee. Yuk! How do you ruin drip coffee?
The breakfast was really good and portions were worth the cost. Staff in breakfast area were on top of keeping customers needs taken care of. Check in staff were over the moon helpful with whatever needed to be answered and so friendly. All that was missing was the red carpet. LOL
