Does stuff are great? The room was comfortable and it was very clean

Cons:

The Price was outrageous. Booking told me that it was close to Love and that there was a shuttle but there was not because it was to DFW. It is very confusing since this location is technically closer to Love than DFW. The staff also did not inform me that they have a shuttle to take you to local places which would have been extremely helpful. It's not close to anything and Uber was expensive. I specifically looked for a hotel that had a shuttle to the airport. The communication and marketing just need to be better. The staff also told me that not a lot of people use the shuttle well probably if they were just as confused as I was. There's a reason why it just sits there. There's no reason why someone still could not have taken me. The shuttle literally just sits there.

My overall experience was very good
Pros:

Your staff was very welcoming in the facility was very clean, which was a bonus for me

Cons:

Honestly, I tried to purchase a bottle of Core water and it was $10. At the supermarket it was $1.49 that was my own negative.

Cons:

Sofa sleeper was less than comfortable. My son had to sleep with my husband while I slept on the sofa…not in bed form, that was way too uncomfortable

Will be a long time before I recommend someone professionally and personally stay at a Doubletree.
Pros:

The staff were extremely informative and tried to help as much as they were allowed to.

Cons:

The systems were down for hours and I wasn't able to check in and take a shower to get ready for my dinner reservations. Which meant I had to cancel and be charged the reservation fee for my wife's Birthday celebration.

A disappointment, in short.
Pros:

It was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Was not told when I booked that 1. Breakfast was not included and 2. That I had to pay to park. Every hotel includes breakfast in the rate and no hotel charges to park. The only reason this scam was played was to bring their published rate down allowing them to better compete in this suburban market, knowing full well they were going to pick up breakfast and parking. “Breakfast” was nothing but a basic buffet-that they charged $18 for and the parking lot was a huge surface lot for 300 vehicles-what other reason existed for them to charge to park. Here’s an idea for Hilton-how about metering toilet flushes-1 per night stay included-extra flushes cost $5 each. And oh yeah don’t tell the guest about the extra charge until check out when the hotel already holds an extra captive “incidentals” charge of $50 on the credit card that is not obvious at booking.
I don’t like the scam. The result is that I will NOT stay at another Hilton owned hotel. Further. I will use other booking services in the future if Booking.com takes no ownership in ensuring that the properties they advertise are truthful in their advertising.
