Cons:

I didn't like anything, they don't take debit and can't do anything after I reserved a room and put in my debit card information. Maybe I should've called but whatever. 0/5 stars

Pros:

Came to Edmonton for a concert and was not able to find a room at my usual spot. Booked this room and it was perfect for us as we had two adults and two kids. It had two queen beds and a small futon which is perfect, all without the crazy price that you pay extra to have one more bed. The beds were super soft, I didn't want to get up in the morning. Also their checkout time isn't until noon so if you like to sleep in like me then it's the perfect place. Also this hotel has a very interesting history and I had a chance to talk to the evening front desk manager and got some answers to some intriguing questions which was also a very cool confirmation for myself..

Cons:

Maybe a bigger parking lot.

Cons:

Booking said the room would have a king bed and a "extra large double bed."
Both rooms only had a king bed. No second bed, so we had to upgrade one room to the two queen bed handicap room. The staff were very nice

It was an alright stay
Pros:

staff are really nice. the location ia great

Cons:

. the only thing that bothered me was the heater makes a lot of noise that i got awaken by it so many times while I was sleeping. For the price I paid,it felt like it was not worth it because of it.

It was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Cons:

Despite the hotel looking and feeling relatively clean, it was very dated and there is a lot of maintenance that need to be done to repair damage/chips/dings/peeling paint/etc to the hotel itself. The location seems to be in a bad neighborhood as there was a lot of people walking around aimlessly at night outside the hotel who were obviously under the influence of drugs or alcohol. There was also an incident with the guests in the room next to ours; they were having a very loud and aggressive domestic dispute at midnight. I called the front desk for 10 minutes straight trying to report the incident and nobody was answering. The dispute started to get louder and sounded like it was getting violent, so I decided to call the police, as I was not willing to leave my hotel room to go down to the lobby looking for someone. The police arrived in less than 2 minutes, kicked one of the guests out, and warned the other. An hour later it seems the one guest who was removed came back and there was another incident, so they evicted both of them at that time. Very little sleep was had, but the hotel did give me a discount for the inconvenience upon my checkout.

Love the style we will stay again!
Pros:

We were looking for location and Chateau Louis was perfect! The Staff were awesome, it was a clean and spacious room even though a little bit dated, but perfect for what we needed. Will stay there again!
