Hotel stay was a Disaster even though I tried to prevent that by calling a day before

There was nothing that I liked besides the location. KATLYNN lied to me, I called her twice the day before my arrival to make sure we had two Queen beds, she assured me there was, the day of arrival no double beds, just one King. This made our stay horrible and the rooms for handicap is definitely not handicap. We had to call fire department to get my brother out of bed, and toilet. I give this hotel & staff 0, especially Kaitlyn

It was located exactly where I needed to be in Gahanna. The staff were superb and kind. They agreed for me to check out at 3pm which was unbelievably generous of them.

Cons:

The shower in the bathroom had a little problem

Not bad but very disappointed about the bathroom sink experience.

It was good and pleasant and it was clean.

Cons:

I was very disappointed with the bathroom sink. It was clogged up and the water wouldn't go down the drain. The front desk told us that no one could fix it until the next day. It was very inconvenient and unsanitary. I feel that I should be compensated for the inconvenience. It was very disappointing trying to get dressed and not having a working bathroom sink. I would like to be compensated for that unfortunate experience.

Pros:

No working internet, even when you pay upcharge for it. The TVs (we had 2 in our room) froze regardless of what channel we turned to using the basic cable.
Carpets are dirty.
Staff was mostly friendly. Breakfast was basic muffins.

Pros:

My room smelled bad. Like wet dog and mildew. The carpet had black stains on it. There was dried mud on the sofa. A huge stain in the center of the ottoman, food under the drain strainer in the sink and dirt on the chrome at the bottom of the shower. After complaining, I was moved to another room and it was clean, although the carpet was also stained. The entire carpet in the hotel looked like it was old and needed replacing. The breakfast was powdered eggs and paper thin bacon with no taste. On top of all of that the parking is limited and the lot does fill up quickly. Additional parking is in the back where it’s poorly lit, behind the hotel. Really expensive rates for a mediocre hotel. However, the desk staff is great. Very professional and friendly.
