Amazing stay!
Pros:

We were welcomed very friendly by the staff. They directly arranged lunch for us and gave us tea. We also had a great jeep safari arranged by them and the guide Achraf was also very friendly.

Because we needed to check out very early they even made a good breakfast box for us. Very much appreciated.

Memorable desert experience
Pros:

We used this accommodation as a base to explore the desert region of Fayoum and Bahariya. Ezz Ahmed offered very good value and highly organised tours tailor made for our needs. He delivered all that he promised and we felt completely safe with the staff he hired to take care of us.

Cons:

Accommodation is basic but comfortable.

An amazing experience.
Pros:

Loved everything this amazing place had to offer. Lovely people, family run and fluent in various languages including English. Tours laid on at last minute to suit the guest. Would highly reccommend this venue for those that wish to see and experience something special.

Cons:

There was nothing not to like about this venue. Mr Ahmed and his familly run the place and are on hand almost 24 hours to accommodate your every wish.

We enjoyed the quiet and rested well
Pros:

The hospitality and the friendliness of the staff. They were also very helpful when there was a problem. We also liked it that it was quiet. When we came they suddenly said that they put us into a deluxe room that we did not asked for, they insisted that we take it.

Cons:

To be suddenly moved to another room after 2 nights from the deluxe room to the basic for our last night. The sheets on the bed in the "basic" room did not fit the bed and the mattress was bad and it felt like sleeping on a board. The "blankets" in the basic room was like floorrugs and this was also a let down as in the other room was a duvet. We had one dinner but it was the same Egyptian "sticky rice" and grilled dry chicken breast - standard Egyptian meal.
Huge amount of flies when one sits outside!!!

Wonderful
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We arrived late, and they went out of their way to have dinner available. Configured a safari tour to accommodate our schedule, and arranged transport. Everything was flawless.

Cons:

Bugs. Most likely do to the environment. May not be much they can do.

Exceptional
Pros:

Great hotel for a trip to the desert. You can order a transfer from Cairo to the hotel or get yourself.
Good internet in the main building, comfortable rooms (the room has air conditioning, a refrigerator, there was no hair dryer, but we didn’t need it). Great friendly staff, helpful in every way. Excellent homemade dinner and simple breakfast. Contacted the hotel in advance to discuss a trip to the desert, sent full information with the cost.

Very good
Pros:

The area of the hotel is very beautiful. You really can get back to peace after you have been to busy places. The hot spring (3min walk) is super relaxing and the people in the village are really friendly.
FYI: It’s not easy to get there with public transport. There is just the Option to take a minibus from a very local Bus station which is not easy to find if you do it on you own. You can write the hôtel owners and they can catch you from Kairo with expensive private car or you are lucky and other people are going there also and you can share.

Cons:

The Tour: We were joining a group for a tour where you also sleep one night in the white desert. You stop at a couple places, and some of them are nice to see. But also sitting long time in a car and you dont have a lot of time at the spots. Some of them are not really interesting (hot spring where u can’t go inside because its way too hot and a lot of children want to sell something there, or some other spots where you just making pictures). A really annoying thing is that everything is so planned, that the whole journey is quite stressful, also the owners are stressing and pushing a lot. For us it was a bit shame that you couldn’t really enjoy the sunset or other places because they were stressing so much. Beside that the drivers were really lovely and when you arrive the place for sleeping in the desert they make it really with love (food, bonfire, places to sit, eat and sleep were amazing and really good quality). The desert was absolutly beautiful. It was a very special experience to see it. If you like that way, go for it. But if you want to stay a night in the white desert maybe take a tour from a hôtel which is closer by.

Magic in the desert
Pros:

We like warm welcome, stay there, nice stuff and especially safari tour to the desert with our great guide and driver. He is the best!

Cons:

As animals (and cats) lover kindly ask you to take special care of little white cat which is struggeling to survive. It is the kindest cat I have ever seen and deserve a chance to survive. Treating with animals is the same as treating with people.
