Cons:

The ac wasn’t that great. The power went out as well in our room and on our side of the hotel. We also had ants when we woke up near our trash can.

Great location, beds are comfy as a cloud, and the cleanliness and decor of the room were like those of a five-star hotel. I did not expect this level of quality in a hotel like this. So, if I come back, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Cons:

There seems to be a lack of communication between the hotel and the cleaning crew. I asked the hotel for a late checkout, and they said they would inform the cleaning crew. But then, later on, the cleaning lady let herself into my room. I was naked at the time, which was uncomfortable for both of us.

The property was nice overall. The area was clean and pretty quiet, which we appreciated. There were a few areas where the trash was overflowing, especially around the pool, but aside from that, the property was well maintained.

Cons:

Unfortunately, what I disliked most about this stay had to do with the service and the condition of my room.

I arrived around 5 p.m. on Saturday with two rooms reserved. Although check-in is at 3 p.m., only one of the rooms was ready. The second room had not even been cleaned yet, and I was told to come back in about an hour. I returned around 6 p.m., meaning the room wasn’t available until roughly three hours after the normal check-in time.

The front desk associate who checked me in was also very disappointing. I don’t remember his name, but he came across as rude, inattentive, and more interested in his phone than helping guests. He handed me paperwork and simply told me he needed $50 for a deposit without really explaining the charges. When I asked when I would be paying for the room itself, he told me that I had already paid for it along with the deposit. The entire interaction felt rushed and lacked basic communication.

When I returned an hour later, I wasn’t notified that the second room was ready. I had to go back to the front desk myself to find out.

Unfortunately, the problems continued with my King Deluxe room. The thermostat would turn on the AC, but none of the other functions worked properly. There was no fan-only setting or heat, and the controls on the actual AC unit didn’t work either. I spent the first night in an extremely cold room.

The next morning, I set the thermostat all the way up to 78 degrees before leaving for the day. When we returned that evening, the room was unbelievably cold—to the point where we could actually see our breath. Although the thermostat was set to 78, it showed the actual room temperature at only 58 degrees.

I called the front desk and was walked through some troubleshooting steps. After trying everything, I called back twice and received no answer. I eventually had to walk downstairs, where I found the same associate who had checked me in, again on his phone.
