I felt catfished once I got off the elevator and went to my room. Very disappointing.

Pros:

The host was very communicative and welcoming. He reached out before our arrival and came by to introduce himself when we got there, which I appreciated. The location was also nice and convenient.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the accommodations themselves did not meet my expectations based on the listing. The listing describes a “patio,” but what is actually provided is more of a small stoop with no chairs or sitting area. The apartment is also located down a set of stairs and felt very much like a basement apartment. There was very little natural sunlight, which contributed to that feeling.

I was also disappointed with the kitchen setup. There were no drinking glasses or cups available, and the host ultimately had his son bring me Solo cups to use for wine. Part of the Airbnb experience, in my opinion, is having the basic comforts of a home—being able to cook, use dishes, have a proper cup or glass, etc. The dishes and kitchenware also appeared quite old, with only one coffee cup and two spoons available.

Cleanliness was my biggest concern. The linens had an odor, and I did not feel comfortable sleeping directly on the pillows. Thankfully, we had brought our own blankets and slept on top of the bedding. We also saw spiders in the bedroom, and there was noticeable dust and webbing throughout the bedroom. The space would benefit from a thorough deep cleaning.

I want to emphasize that the host himself was kind, responsive, and welcoming. My concerns are specifically about the condition, cleanliness, and amenities of the property. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would not recommend

Overall our stay was very good and we would consider returning in the future.
Pros:

It was clean and comfortable

Cons:

We only had one towel in our bathroom when we arrived but a bunch of washcloths.
We were charged for our room 3 times with 3 different prices but after I called it was quickly resolved. I’m just glad I checked our credit card account and caught it sooner rather than later.

Overall, our stay was good. We had a great time and wished we could stay longer.
Pros:

The room was nice, breakfast was good. Love the decor and the employees I encountered were great!

Cons:

May be a coffee make in the room. Check the fridge-there was still someone’s left overs in the fridge still. The bathroom sink didn’t drain that well. The lamp outlets between the beds did not charge/work.

Good location.

Cons:

Not outlet. Eat one side of the bed. No mini fridge. One elevator did not stop on our floor, the button may have been broken. Super loud room next door. Was woken up a little before 3am. Informed front desk. Didn’t seem to stop.
