Ubicado en un lugar inmejorable, a pocos metros del tren, y en la calle donde espera el bus a la ciudadela.
Mitch nuestro anfitrión estuvo muy preocupado de que nuestra estadía fuera placentera. Relación precio/calidad excelente.
We stayed 2 nights as we visited Machu Picchu. The hotel is close to the bus station to go to Machu Picchu and not far from the train station.
Hotel provided a very nice breakfast, scramble eggs, avocados, hams, banana, drinks.
There is no elevator to go to the room or breakfast area which on the 6th floor. But you're not supposed to carry any large luggage anyway. Only you might end up walking up and down when you forget something.
Mina was awesome. Super gracious, extremely accommodating and very helpful. If you’re visiting Machu Picchu and need a place to stay I highly recommend.
The owner of the property wax extremely nice and accommodative, friendly and genuinely hospitable. When we told them we were checking out at 5:30 in the morning. they had packed our breakfast to go. I highly recommend this place.
This place is dirty, mold everywhere strong mold odor as soon as you enter the room also mold odor travels through the hallways the toilet wasn’t working properly, the phone didn’t work due to the phone jack plate was broken, my bigger concern was the mold issue. This place is not a Hotel. The entrance of the building doesn’t have a lobby there is a rolling gate that looks like a storage. Room was very dirty. Do not book with them unless you want to have a bad experience.
The property was on top of the bus line that takes you to Machu Picchu but very convenient in case you have to go there. I doubt you'll go to Aguas Calientes without going to Machu Picchu so that's a pretty good spot. The staff was incredibly nice and offered us to stay at their facility when we were just waiting to get the train or the bus. I would recommend that place to anyone.
Friendly host/owner. Very convenient location to the train station. But the rooms lack sound insulation so you will hear the noises from the street and the river all day and night so it’s a minus point for light sleepers.
The hotel is very good but my room was in front of the street where ALL the buses that went and came from MachuPichu did a u turn so from 7am to 5pm all you can hear are buses. But overall pretty good hotel, maybe other rooms are different
Located right by the train station and the bus to Machu Picchu. Super convenient
Too noisy! The hotel is right on the Main Street and there is almost no sound proof at all. Heard dog barking all night and buses from 5am.
Sin dudas espectacular, excelente atencion, las habitaciones exelentes,el desayuno perfecto le doy un 10 de 10...
Great stuff
The property is located in the middle of all the action, train station, bus station to Machu Picchu, restaurant, shops and the staff is very friendly and cordial and the breakfast is delicious and complete and very quiet at night.
Great for families with kids!!!
The property is clean and comfortable. Our triple room was a great choice for this trip with my two adult children. The hotel is on the main street, right where shuttle buses turn around for Machu Picchu. That makes it convenient, but also a bit noisy at night. The stream that runs downhill beyond the road provides for a picturesque scene, but can also be noisy. That said, we all slept well. The woman who operates the facility is very friendly and helpful even though she speaks no English. We were delighted to get a bagged breakfast as head headed out for our morning shuttle. It is an excellent value.
Expetacular
Clean simple room. Did not match our expectations based on photos available on Expedia booking app.
LIKED:
-great service, friendly and professional (especially Edith!)
-Edith arranged a private English speaking guide for our 6am tour of Machu Picchu
-Edith walked me to the bus station to buy bus tickets up the mountain
-Edith walked us to a restaurant for lunch
-Edith provided us with box meals to take for breakfast when we had to leave at 6am
-beds were comfortable
-hotel room had flat screen tv with netflix already installed
-great wifi
-great view
-hotel had contacted us by email to say that they might have to move us to another hotel due to a plumbing issue, but they managed to move us to another room instead
DIDN'T LIKE:
-five story walkup to room (hotel has only one room per floor)
Awesome hotel. Great location, super nice employee, view is tremendous and very convenient for going to Machu Picchu as the line for busses starts literally right outside the hotel. Nice room as well.
Hotel Tierra In is in the best location in Machu Picchu pueblo. It is close to everything but also very quiet so you can take a good rest at night. The rooms are modern with and inviting smell and the beds are very comfortable. You cannot hear any noise from other rooms which is very important to me. The breakfast was awesome and you can choose the time so they have everything fresh and made at the momment. They had scramble eggs, orange juice natural and fresh, fruits, different type of breads, yogurt, coffee, milk, butter, cereals ham, cheese, jam. Everything with excellent quality. They also met us at the train station and were very kind and friendly, gave us recommendations on where to eat and buy the tickets to the bus to get to the archeological park. Everything was great in our stay in Hotel Tierra In and we will stay again when we came back to Machu Picchu. Highly recommend it!
