Friendly, great room, great Amenities (love bobbi brown!)
Everything was wonderful! I've stayed in all the best hotels in the area and this one was the best!!
I only would have requested a heavier blanket on my bed!
Broken light bulbs, loud construction noises that start at midnight in the hotel’s kitchen and continue until morning and you hear it all in your rooms, blankets don’t get delivered, and overcharged for items not consumed. No one apologies, no one follows through. There are other hotels in the area more responsive and also more reasonably priced. I have this hotel a chance twice this month but won’t be staying again.
We recently stayed at Hotel Crescent Court in Dallas and overall had a very good experience.
The standout here is the service. From the front door team to check-in to the maintenance staff, everyone we encountered was genuinely warm, professional, and efficient. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the entire property feels exceptionally clean and well cared for. Breakfast was next level - not just the food, but the polite and attentive service every single morning.
We also enjoyed a couple of treatments at the spa. The facilities themselves are excellent, and as hotel guests we had access to the sauna, steam room, etc., which we highly recommend. It’s a nice (albeit slightly small) space and a great way to spend a few hours. That said, the treatment pricing is unquestionably steep, and the automatic 23% service charge (gratuity) added on top of already elevated prices makes for a pretty eye-watering final bill.
We did run into a couple of frustrations. Our room (240) was unfortunately located next to a staff/service elevator area, which meant noticeable noise throughout the night. For a hotel at this level, uninterrupted sleep should be a given. Our air conditioning was also not working, but to their credit, one quick call had it fixed within 20 minutes - impressive response time. And the maintenance guy was super friendly.
The bigger issue for us was the overall pricing structure. The hotel clearly caters to business travelers where expense accounts soften the blow. $10 coffee and $70 overnight parking add up quickly. And don't forget the $40 nightly "destination fee". It gives the impression that maximizing guest spend is a priority, which can take away from what is otherwise a luxury experience.
The room itself was extremely clean, though we found ourselves requesting additional towels and toilet paper almost daily, which felt a bit surprising at this tier.
In summary: beautiful property, truly five-star staff, excellent spa facilities and breakfast - but the value equation and room placement kept this from being a full five stars for us.
We’d consider staying again, but likely with a specific room request and a clearer understanding of the on-site costs.
Hotel Crescent Court is a beautiful property, with an amazing staff. Everyone takes great care to anticipate and care about your needs. Can’t wait for another stay.
Terrible customer service, I had to cancel because of an ice storm and still gouged me for all they could. Would never stay at this place again.
Beautiful venue, staff is on top of things, professional, patient, knowledgeable! Rooms are lovely, meeting space was gorgeous and functional. Food was delicious, IT staff had everything set up early and it was quick to connect. I would definitely return for business or personal stay!
This has nothing to do with a stay or reservation. I parked in the garage for dinner at Moxies, a restaurant in the hotel. Advertised as parking for retail and free with validation, we got our ticket validated after dinner. It wouldn’t scan our ticket and after speaking with an attendant, we went back up to try validating again. It didn’t work again and so we spoke to another attendant who was completely useless in resolving the situation and didn’t do a thing so we had to pay.
Stayed NYE. We had some drinks/food at the bar in the lobby. Ashley was our bartender and she was incredible and so kind. The concierge, Jim, checked us in and was very friendly. He filled us in on the activities the crescent was hosting that evening. Lastly, Amy down at the spa was a lifesaver when I forgot to bring a hair tie! Overall great service and hospitality, we will continue to come back! The hotel was decorated beautifully for the holiday season. Downtown location makes it easy to get to great bars and restaurants. Rooms were clean with normal amenities, the Juliet balconies are pretty but you can’t open them anymore. Overall a quiet, luxury hotel, average pricing for 4+ star hotel.
As opposed to our inital stay at this hotel about 6 months ago, this time it did not go so well. They did not have a room available at 5:30! By the time we returned from dinner I was certain they would have given us an upgrade, which they did not (I reserved thorugh AMEX platinum). Also the room was not prepared for 2 guests (watre, towels, etc...). When I complained they offered a discount, which was not applied to the bill.
Kip (Cyprionna) made us feel so welcome at the bar. The drink she made was amazing. The experience here was quite pleasurable and I’ll definitely return.
Kip is not just a bartender—she’s an experience. From the moment you step up to the bar, her presence is warm, confident, and effortlessly professional. She has an exceptional ability to read the room, anticipate needs, and make every guest feel genuinely welcomed and valued.
Her craftsmanship behind the bar is top-tier. Every drink is thoughtfully prepared, perfectly balanced, and served with pride. Whether it’s a classic cocktail or a creative recommendation tailored to your taste, Kip delivers consistency and excellence every single time.
What truly sets Kip apart, however, is her character. She brings energy without ego, humor without distraction, and professionalism without stiffness. She elevates the atmosphere, supports her team, and leaves a lasting impression on guests long after the glass is empty.
Nice hotel in Uptown. Stayed in the Metropolitan suite and it was big but very contemporary and stark. Spacious master with large king bed. Nice that it had no carpet. Master bath was very nice, big soaking tub and walk in shower. Second bath not so much. The sink in the second bath was about 2 inches deep and the faucet was low. Hard to even wash my hands. Sounds minor but we book suites so my wife can have the big bath and I use the half bath. It didn't have room to put anything.
HVAC controls were confusing and hard to adjust. The website for booking is not good. Confusing information about payment and hard to confirm reservations once made. Room service was very expensive and Valet was $70 per night. Did not have the feel of a luxury 5 star hotel although service was good. Trays from in room dining were left in the hall from multiple rooms all day.
This is a beautiful hotel but if you don't like a contemporary feel it may not be for you. Needs some TLC.
Very comfortable, convenient and well appointed hotel for business purposes. Very high-end and loved the Christmas display.
The facility and space are great. Excellent service. I think the room had thermostat issues but I wasn't there long enough for it to be a problem.
