Weekend stay
Pros:

Very good experience at this hotel, and it's in a great location. The valet team was always on it, Kelvin especially, he seemed to be there everyday. The deluxe king room we had was huge, and the bathroom had 2 vanities which was perfect since I was traveling with my wife. I'm definitely stay here again on my future trips to Dallas.

Excellent staff especially Kelvin
Pros:

We stayed at the Dallas Marriott Downtown and had the best experience! It was clean, it is in a great location, and the restaurant is fantastic! The biggest impression was the staff! In particular, Kelvin, who greeted us with a smile when we entered and left the building, opened doors for us, told us about fun places to go nearby, and helped us with our luggage. He is a young gentleman who knows how important customer service is! We will definitely be back!

A smile can do wonders
Pros:

Kelvin at the valet was very helpful during our stay. Not just with our vehicle but seeing his smiling face each time going through the doors was an uplifting time and made my day brighter!

Exceptional from start of stay to end
Pros:

What can I say, but excellent property. The guest rooms are in great condition. Beds are extremely comfortable and afforded a good night sleep. Bathrooms are clean and the shower that I had was the combo Kohler head and wand.

The real star here though… which makes any property memorable was the service. Each team member i encountered was warm and friendly. The M Club lounge team was particularly spectacular. These are folks I was happy to run into and they seemed genuinely engaged in each guest interaction.

Also of note… the M Club lounge was modern, spacious, and both evening and breakfast offerings were high quality.

I spend a lot of nights a year in hotels… very unusual to not find anything to complain about. Aces across the board for a Marriott property.

Pros:

The communication was challenging for me. They still didn’t provide my invoice- they said i booked through booking. I need it for tax purposes and they are the only mariott hotel claiming this.

Cons:

The communication with the staff was agresive and not helpful.

Comfort, Style and a Great Downtown Location
Pros:

Great Stay in a Perfect Location

I had a really comfortable stay at the Dallas Marriott. The hotel feels modern and well maintained, and the staff was friendly from check-in to check-out. My room was clean, quiet, and had a great view of the city skyline.

The location is ideal if you want to explore Dallas — everything is easy to reach. The gym was well equipped and the lobby area had a nice atmosphere to relax or get some work done.

Overall, a very solid Marriott experience and I would definitely stay here again.

If you get the room under the gym, you will not get any sleep at all.
Pros:

I got the room right under the gym. There was absolutely no noise isolation. As you hear loud stomping of people running, and dumbbells being dropped - and it's really loud. No chance of sleeping through that. It is like someone jumping on top of you. The gym is open 24/7. So, I got woken up at midnight, and then at 5am, and then at 6am. After 6am - it is pretty much non-stop.

They wouldn't change my room - even with my gold status - and it made my business trip really miserable.

Oh, and wifi sucked as well.

Tanya is the Best!
Pros:

Had a great stay, even with the winter storm, all thanks to Tanya. She went above and beyond (even when not getting days off because she was also locked in due to the storm)! From check in to the skywalk to checkout, and everything in between, she was there for everything we needed.

Staff made the best of the trip
Pros:

Had the misfortune of traveling through Dallas during a winter storm and getting trapped for a few days, but every member of the staff at the property did everything they could to make my stay as pleasant as it could be. Huge shout out to Tanya and Joaquina who both helped tremendously!

Great Customer Service
Pros:

From the money we checked in, group of 6, your front desk agent was phenomenal. Tanya was welcoming, gracious, and incredibly helpful during an iced in difficult trip. Tanya is a keeper in every way and should be acknowledged for her remarkable service.
