Bed was to soft uncomfortable the walls need it paint the shower need it fixing. The sofa was itchy

Great experience
Pros:

Great room. We had a family room with two beds and a pull out. Kids said it was nicest hotel they have stayed in. Very spacious room, clean, AC worked great. Comfortable beds. Great staff.

Quick stay
Pros:

The shuttle service was great, but the food wasn’t good, even the breakfast buffet was disappointing. For a quick 13 hr stay, it met our needs.

Great stay, close to the airport
Pros:

Stayed 1 night as we had early an flight the next day. Check in was easy, quick and the staff was great. We checked in before returning our rental car so we were able to return the car and then take the shuttle back to the hotel. The shuttle was on time and driver was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, large and had a sofa sitting area. TV was large, ice machine was close. Got a great night's sleep on comfortable bed and quiet room. We left early the next morning so can't review the breakfast but coffee was ready and had fruit available. The shuttle the next morning was a little late but the staff came outside to let us know, and it was only about 5 min late, no biggie. Overall a great stay.

Great Airport Proximity
Pros:

Great proximity to airport and real good restaurants within walking distance. Shuttle service was dedicated to that hotel so it was quick and efficient.

Location and cleanliness

Cons:

A member of the front desk staff (possibly the manager) was super unhelpful and unfriendly. Even though our room was ready and available early, she wouldn’t let us check in unless we paid an early fee of $50. So we had to wait around for a more until another staff member (on a new shift) who was super friendly allowed us to check-in.

Overall a pleasant stay but some of the above would make it even better.
Pros:

Good location
Good sized room
We were able to extend our stay to 4pm for 50 dollars.

Cons:

The bathroom was very small in relation to the size of the room.
The washing area had no door so no privacy.
There was no bar or snack facilities.
Breakfast finishes at 9 30 doors close even if you’re still eating!
The pool area isn’t inviting, small pool and broken chairs.

Airport noise at 5 am.
Pros:

It was a good hotel for its value. The only negative is that it is in the flight path of Orlando airport. So it was a little loud at 5 am in the morning when the first flights took off.

Not the Hyatt experience I expected
Pros:

Although an earlier power outage understandably caused delays and impacted housekeeping, when we arrived at the hotel at 7PM and were told that our room was not yet ready, there was no communication from the front desk about how long we should expect to wait. The only information we were given was that our reservation was on an upper floor which was still being serviced, and that no room changes were possible because the hotel was full. After sitting in the lobby for 1 1/2hours, we were given a room on the 2nd floor. There were several other guests waiting with us in the lobby, and the front desk was unable to provide timelines or room updates to anyone. It appeared to all of us that the hotel's response to the earlier power outage was poor, and that housekeeping was understaffed. The front desk's communication to those of us waiting was nonexistent. Also, although the room was clean, the creaky mattress or box spring in my room was badly in need of replacement. Two months prior to this reservation at Hyatt Place, I stayed in a different hotel chain that is also near the Orlando airport and in the same price range. It was a much better experience.
