El desayuno y la ubicación
La habitación era pequeña
The lobby and lounge area are lovely. We chose this hotel because it is dog friendly. They had water bowls in the lobby and dog cookies.
The TVs in the rooms only offer cable channels - no smart tv access. We were hoping there would be 2 sitting chairs in a ‘king deluxe room’ but there was just a small desk and a chair at that. The ‘city view’ was upsold as something worth paying extra for but the view was pretty average.
I have stayed here before many years ago and had forgotten that the rooms are quite small
The elevators are hardwood floored which dogs find scary.
I love about staying at this specific hotel in SLC while I am in town because of how friendly, accommodating and luxurious everyone makes me feel. I love how the staff conducts themselves. Even the younger staff members were very professional and acted very polished
I stayed here with my son for 2 nights on a Chase Edit reservation. The location is nice in downtown Salt Lake City. Upon checking in, Carl said there were no upgrades available for Chase Edit customers. After checking in, I looked online and saw that there was 1 suite available for the dates of my stay. The room we had was small, but sufficient. There is no pool at this hotel. Breakfast in Bambara was nice. However, on my 2nd breakfast, they only gave me half of a link of chicken sausage with my order instead of a full link as previously done. They apply a $25 credit for 2 people for breakfast, so $50 total. We also had dinner at Bambara, which was very nice. I requested a late checkout and was told by Carl that 1:00pm (normal checkout time is noon) was the latest they could do for Chase Edit customers. Upon checking out, they did apply the $100 property credit to the amount we spent for breakfast over $50 and what we spent for dinner. Valet parking is $47 a day, but there are parking garages nearby for less. I parked right next to the hotel in a garage using the parkwhiz app for $24/night. I would probably stay here again, but would also look at other options before doing so.
Good position
Air conditioning very loud behind the wall

My daughter and I had an amazing experience. Kelsie and the entire team went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. We will definitely again!
Comfortable bed, super clean sheets,. Bath robe!
Location, stuff, comfortable bed
Lovely staff, great selection of citrus flavoured water at reception, cold water, coffee etc. Lovely restaurant. Comfortable room, decent price.
The gym wasn't great, treadmill felt old and unstable. Lot of homeless and people on drugs in the surrounding area. Restaurant super cold. Food great though. Breakfast a highlight.
Too city
I enjoyed my stay at the Kimpton Monaco. The hotel staff was excellent. The room was large with adequate plugs. The lobby had a small area that had coffee and sold Coca-Cola products and small snacks. I had a corner room which looked out over the city. The location was approximately four blocks from the Temple Square and right across from the ballet theater. There were multiple restaurants in the area.
The bed was very comfortable, and the in-room amenities were a nice touch. I especially loved the bath soaps and shampoo.
The scent in the lobby was quite strong and had a synthetic quality to it, which was a bit off-putting. The staff could have been more warm and welcoming upon arrival. The room was comfortable, though not as exceptional as I had hoped.
Everything and they were dog friendly.
