Super clean!!!
Breakfast wasn’t included
Rapport qualité prix exceptionnel. Chambre spacieuse. Proximité avec les parcs d'Universal Studios.
Closeness to universal and clean
When we arrived we were told we had to pay for parking and we thought that was really shady as it wasn’t mentioned in the booking listing easily like the other hotels in the area and was the reason we chose this hotel.
Also, in the morning we had to leave early and were leaving the lobby at 6:27am. I went to grab coffee upon leaving and my husband went to fill up our water bottle before getting on the rode and we didn’t see a water fountain. So he just went into the breakfast area to fill his water. Upon entering the breakfast area exactly 3 minutes before it technically opened the person at the front desk yelled at us telling us we were not allowed step foot into the breakfast area early. To which we said we were just wanting to fill up our water bottle and she then gave us a lecture while walking away about how “unsanitary” it was. I then had to ask awkwardly where the water fountain was and she just pointed without any help toward the hallway but in a condescending way. I then asked if it was ok to continue getting coffee(which was all set up near the check in desk) to which she begrudgingly said “I guess”. Totally get it was early just wasn’t the best way to leave in the morning.
Breakfast was exceptional and staff was Awesome.
Nice staff very helpful
The bathrooms were so small
The location was superb for those going to Universal Studios. They had a shuttle but it was also within walking distance.
Nothing
We like that the room was spacious (handicap room)
We also liked the shower (detachable heading)
We really liked the friendly staff and smiles.
We did not like that we had to pay $25 a night for parking with no security, no fencing and no nothing.
We did not like the shuttle beeping so early in the a.m. right outside the window.
We did not like that breakfast was not included in the cost of the room.
We were in town for a gymnastics competition and decided to take advantage of being there by visiting the Universal parks. This hotel is very conveniently located and technically walkable via a pedestrian bridge. That said, it’s about a 30-minute walk to the park entrance — and after a full day in the parks, that return walk can feel long. We ended up recommending Uber (around $10), which was quick and easy. There is also a hotel bus option, but it runs one way and the last departure from the hotel is at 11am, so plan accordingly.
The hotel itself was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable. If you’re looking to stay close to the parks without paying on-property prices, this is a solid option. It was a bit noisy at times, but nothing unexpected for a hotel near a major theme park.
The room layout worked well for our needs and allowed everyone to rest comfortably. My only drawback was the bathroom setup — the sink is located in the main room, while the tub and toilet are separated in a small enclosed space. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, just a personal preference.
Overall, I would absolutely stay here again for the location and value.
